Just got some new little friends, I luv them! đ±
My rubber plant is dropping leaves with new growth. Itâs in a part sun part shade location now because I read too much sun can do this? Does anyone have any advice? Itâs got 3 drainage holes in the bottom - the soil is wet now as I just was due to water it today. Thanks in advance!
Drooping leaves. What do I do? Iâve had my BOP for like 2 months now and noticed the leaves stared drooping. Iâll say that I did make a mistake by leaving it next to the ac vent. Because thatâs where my window is. But how bad is it? And how can I revive it? I water once a week depending on the moisture of the soil, and itâs in a pot with drainage.
Help identifying ? Thank you!
Hello! Iâm trying to make my backyard look nice, and it gets a lot of shade but quite a bit of sun as well, nowhere with full sun though. I am looking for anything from Lillyâs to bushes, for example calla Lilly or pampas grass but also stuff either leafy greenery, I need all the help I can get for suggestions, thanks in advance! ;)
Can anyone tell me what kind of Hosta I have? The tag just says âHosta Hybridâ.
Anyone know what I should do with this long boi?? Not sure if it should grow up or down đ
What is everyoneâs go to for grow lights? I have a few plants placed a little too dark and would like to add some grow lights to them but I want something reliable. I canât seem to find any that donât plug into the wall so would power banks be an option? Sorry if this is a repost I just havenât seen anything posted recently in regards to grow lights. Thanks in advance đ
Hi everyone, had this hypoestes for a few months now and this tends to happen every now and then, the yellowing of the leaves i would assume either too much water to too much sun, but i always let it dry out between water and the sun really hasnât been bad at the minute, and if it were to be too hot i take them out the window, all Iâve been doing is chopping the leaves once they fully turn yellow, any advice?
This is my second pilea, last one i definitely drowned lol so watching the watering with this one. Leaves are very droopy and makes me wonder if im not watering enough. looks SAD. Also there is some curling to some leaves. Some stems are red, new leaf growth is red⊠whats that about ? Any tips/opinions would be appreciated!
Does anyone have any tips for keeping your plants alive while on a trip? Iâm going on a 10 day vacation soon and I donât want my plants to die while Iâm gone
Is this a fungus on top of the soil of my ficus? The app didnât detect any issues with the plantâs health based on pictures but Iâm a little concerned.
My snake plant is not doing well at all. Leaves keep coming out a little wet and a little dry. What should I do? Any tips?
Hello can someone please remind me how you use the apps light meter? Thank you.đ€đȘŽ
Yall how do I turn off the reminders for specific plants? I made a wishlist and I donât need watering reminders for them
Does anyone know what could be causing this damage on leaves? I noticed little black pests flying around and in the soil, none on the actual leaves, I canât tell if itâs thrips or fungal gnats. But the soil isnât moist, and I have it isolated from my other plants.
hey yall! planta has suggested that i move a couple of my plants (bearded iris and echeveria) out from the shade of my terrace into the sun of the backyard (it says the light level is too low) these plants arenât dying, but also arenât exactly thriving. only thing is, we live in texas where it is well over 100° right now, plus humidity through the roof. i donât want to burn the plantsâ should i purchase a grow light and keep them indoors (and out of the heat) or should i just keep them outside? iâve had them outside for a day and they donât seem to be wilting, but itâs only been a day. i am also super new to planta and havenât quite built up that trust. any advice?
Does anything else think Planta suggests watering plants way too often? Also apologies if this has been discussed to death before. I signed up for Planta about a year ago because I wanted to get into taking care of houseplants but didnât feel comfortable and confident so the auto watering schedule was a huge selling point. I now have almost 40 thriving plants! Overall itâs been wonderful and it was Planta that gave me the confidence. But recently Iâve noticed that most of the plants that it tells me to water still have very moist soil when read with a soil moisture meter (I mostly bottom water my plants to avoid gnats). I input all the information into the app, the distance from the window, pot size, growing medium, everything. Anyways, now when it tells me to water Iâll take a moisture reading and if itâs still moist Iâll skip until next time. Sometimes Iâll skip multiple times in a row and all those plants are still doing fine great which suggests that Planta is telling me to water way too frequently. Anyone else noticing this?
Never seen this before!
