My moon valley is dying and I have no idea what to do. Please help!
Trying to figure out if I have an issue or I am I just over concerning myself #MoneyTree
I am NOT good with plants at all. I went to a Farmers Market and there was a nursery. I call myself getting “Low Maintenance “ plants and so far I think one is already dying. It’s not been like 2 -3 weeks. The one on the left is a Dieffenbachia Camille and the one on the right is a Snake plant. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks.
Is it bad that the leaves are kinking like this? This has been happening for about a month.
someone please help!! i have have her for about four months and all of a sudden she just started dying. i don’t know what’s to do.
Planta is turning 7! 🌱✨ Over these seven years, we’ve watched millions of plants join the Planta family - and together, you’ve completed countless care tasks, keeping your green friends happy and thriving. We couldn’t have done any of this without you. Your love for plants and your trust in Planta have helped us grow into the community we are today. Here’s to many more years of nurturing plants (and plant parents) together! 🪴💫 Thank you for being a part of our journey 💚
A couple of years ago, I had 97 plants (including cuttings) in my 42 sqm apartment. That worked out to about 2.3 plants per sqm, all fighting for light from just two windows and a balcony door. Now I’m curious: what’s your plant-per-sqm today? These days, after moving to a bigger home, battling thrips infestations, swapping many of my indoor plants for a garden, and adding kids into the mix, I’m at just 0.28 houseplants per sqm!
New leaf alert! Guess the coloration 🤔
Think I got a corm growing from my Alocasia dark star 😁. On my other Alocasia’s they normally just grow up, this one seems to grow across, this wasn’t there this morning, popped through after watering.
Help my Amazon driver won't leave my driveway and I can't get my new grow lights since I don't like people... 😭😭 it's been like 7 mins and she's just sitting thereeeee
Hello, my spider plant died. My son and I forgot about it when winter hit. But this ended up growing after. Is this just weeds? Thank you in advance
I can’t tell if the base of my money tree is starting to get unhealthy. It recently had some pest issues and I’ve been treating it. But overall it’s still growing fine (minus the leaves I’m pruning and treating). I’ve had it for 8 years and I really done want to start over. Just need another set of eyes, thank youuuuuu
So I’ve had this calathea for a while now and it has been infested with what I think is spider mites (if it’s not pls let me know) and I was just thinking would it be such a crime to just get rid of it? 😬 it pains me but I’ve done everything from taking it out completely and spraying it down with neem to the dawn dish and isopropyl method it just really wants to have bugs.
Heyy! I'm brand new to gardening and the only thing I've done before are Tulips, that didn't last long, but I'm starting new this year! I wanted to try zinnias and didn't do enough research and put way too many seeds in one pot. What do I need to do?? Can I leave them or do i need to repot? And how exactly can i do that? Thanks in advance!!
Does anyone know what plant this is? It was a free cutting and they didn’t tell me what plant it is. (Potted and plantlet)
We have an aquatic turtle that we have a dry tank for when she lays eggs (1 to 2 times a year). Starting to transfer it into a succulent/cactus habitat. 1st time trying something like this, if anyone has advice appreciate it. Thanks for the wonderful community... it has encouraged me to expand my plant family.
Whaaaa- you don’t buy plants for the leaves they’re showing off?? 👀 👀 👀
I noticed on my lemon-lime philodendron that the older leaves were yellowing (can see in the first & second pic) no pests, so I repotted her since she was in her nursery pot. Her roots were good but definitely root bound. She’s pushing out new growth too (third pic) so I’m wondering if I should clip the older yellowing leaves to promote new growth or leave them? I don’t want to stress her out cause I love her!!
What does it mean when plant leaves curl up? Are they cold?
It’s funny that all summer long my basil plant has done great in my kitchen window with the sun. But recently I read on Google that it may be dying due to too much sun or under/over watering. And I thought this was the one plant besides my coleus that I was doing good with. So any clues as to what is wrong with my basil plant?
