Hi everyone! I’ve had this purple inch plant for about a year now, and it’s gotten really long to the point where I was trying to untangle its branches and ended up snapping some branches. Do you guys think I should leave it alone, let it grow like it has been? Or should I trim it down?

Hey folks! I’ve finally come to the conclusion i need help with my bamboo plant. Please let me know if there’s anything i can do. This is my office plant so if i need to take it home and dissect it I will. The pot that it is in has no drainage hole and is a soil-perlite mix. It seems to be leaning even though I have it close to the window. Any tips/suggestions will be appreciated!

Questions about the monstera a recently got from Home Depot. 1. What kind of soil mix is this, that they use? 2. It’s been a week since I got it, I haven’t watered it yet, and the soil is still moist. Should I be worried about this? It’s in a 9” pot I believe.

Can I ask about misting please? On the app, it recommends misting quite often, however when I put a post on Facebook asking people what mist sprays they use, the general agreement was not to use them, as apparently some leaves don’t like getting wet!! So now I’m confused!! 😵‍💫 x Thank you everyone for all the advice and tips - I’ve bought a humidifier from Amazon and some Neem oil, so fingers crossed that’s better for all my plant babies 👶 x

I have been looking at all the local plant shops in my area for a philodendron birkin and while on my lunch break I happened to stroll by the plant section at WALMART and look what I found! Finally able to check off a wish list plant!! I also picked up a cute little arrowhead plant. I wonder how long it’ll take for my husband to notice the new additions 😁

Strawberry shake philodendron, per leaf my most expensive plant 🌱. Question, they like high humidity I’ve read so I’ve made a private greenhouse for her.. is 95% too high?

This is my 8in croton in a 8.13in pot. I think it’s too snug. Pot size suggestions?

this has been my family’s “dump the extra water on it” plant since we got it about 4 years ago. never fertilized/repotted/staked anything. today i took a look at it and realized it was in a pot with no drainage and sitting water, so i took it out, only to realize it’s actually 3 separate plants of 2 different types. my plant scanner says the left one is a lucky bamboo and the right one is a corn plant. i cleaned them off and popped them in two glass jars with water in them. the roots look/feel good, no mushy or shriveled bits, but the leaves obviously have some spots on them. i guess my questions are this: 1. are these the correct names? 2. i know lucky bamboo can stay in water for a while, but what about corn plants? i’ll put them in soil and pots soon, but i’d like to leave them in the water for a couple weeks if possible. i’d appreciate any advice y’all have!

My var alocasia frydek just put out an almost completely white leaf. However, there is a *teensy* bit of green on it. What do you think its chances are of not wilting? I included a photo of the previous leaf just because it’s nearly all green, so maybe its photosynthesis can make up for it?😂 The plant is located in a greenhouse with 70-75% humidity and grow lights.
