Got some new babies today! Three on my list that I have wanted. Ring of fire philodendron, pink princess philodendron, and Thai constellation monstera. Any tips to help these babies flourish?

Wondering if anyone here has experience with growing a lightning orchid in a terrarium. From what I have read, these require significant humidity, but roots are susceptible to rot, and it has been mentioned that a terrarium can be a good way to control this if you’re home is low humidity. I can’t really do a humidifier. I’m new to the terrarium world, also. Any info or help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Very excited that my grafted moon cactus is going to have a bloom soon. Maybe it will be on full display in the next couple of days!

I have a new coffee arabica plant. What soil should be used for indoors and I’m using a grow light. Everything says bright indirect. How should I do that with a grow light. After thought here. Some of the leaves are a pale green/yellow. Thanks

Bought these cute stem holders for my pothos. They snap open/closed so it makes it easy on watering days.

This banana plant has been giving me the blues. She is as initially holding water in her nursery pot. I’ve changed it to a chunky soil mix and now she looks worse than before. I currently have her under a grow light but I’m at a loss.

I’m trying to get help for my outdoor spider plant. Something is eating it, idk what, and I want to treat it before it’s worse. What can I put on it? I’ve attempted to post in other groups, but it never shows up :(

PSA I was just scrolling YouTube when I came across a video from A Current Affair Australia about potting mix almost killing an elderly man. What he had breathed from the potting mix almost killed him. For many years when starting we never wore a mask when dealing with perlite. Under a microscope perlite looks like shards of glass. I recommend never opening a bag of it inside, go outside for a second and dump your perlite in your mix. As a safety I guess we should always wear a mask when mixing soil.
