I moved her in this room for the holiday season....I think she likes it! This is ONE PLANT. Not a braided trunk (the other 2 parts died years ago when I didn't give it enough light). I am afraid to try and prop it!
How does everyone keep their homes non-foggy from humidifiers? My apartment is foggy I know because I’m using tap water. I’ve been using tap water that has sat out over 24 hours first. I was using distilled water but it is not do-able to buy 15+ gallons of distilled water each week and haul that up my 3rd floor apartment..,, 🙁 Does anyone have suggestions? Maybe a water filter for my tap?
Attempting to get it together with my plant care, the app recommends liquid fertilizer: What do I use? Thank you!
What is happening here!?! This room is fairly chilly so I’m in awe that she’s even growing! I haven’t touched her since I put her in here ~2 weeks ago
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for something I can put under my plant shelves to catch dirt? I thought about using one of those plastic shoe trays but my shelving is 3ft long and any tray I find online is really expensive.
Hello! My red nerve plant apparently wants to give up on life all of the sudden. It has been doing really well up until about 2 weeks ago. The leaves got really soft and wrinkled up i figured it needed some water and extra light since it hasnt been getting as much with the winter and all. So i watered her and put her under a light for the past week and some leaves have come back but as you can see the rest are dead lol. I checked the roots and dont see any rot. Any ideas what i could do to bring some life back into her?
Happy Friday yall! Im a newish plant dad and have a Frangiani that is suddenly losing leaves. It’s been sprouting for months now and has been stable. I moved it to a brighter lit room last week but now it’s losing its 3rd and 4th leaves. Do I move it back? Any ideas to diagnose are appreciated!
Looks like we’re rearranging this weekend again
BOOM More pictures My humidity and temp were a tad high I fixed those issues
Hey there friends. Advice welcomed for this pretty lady Krissy my peace lily. I had a couple plants in the past after my mother and niece passed away. However, at that time I was only good at keeping pothos plants thriving. Since 3 years ago my parenting skills over plants have improved tremendously!! So grabbed this beauty today for $5.98 at Lowe’s..help is welcomed
My Thanksgiving cactus is a bit behind schedule. 😆 Glad to see it blooming, I saved it within the last year.
Monstera help? I just re-potted my Monstera, which has grown quite a bit since I got it. I was reading other people‘s posts and it said that Monstera plants have a back and a front. I can’t tell if this is two different plants that have intertwined roots or if it’s possible for a Monstera plant to have two major backs that are facing in different directions lol. One back is facing 10 o’clock and the other 2 o’clock. I put in some moss poles to try and get the whole thing to grow upwards instead of splaying outwards like it has been. Would love any advice or corrections if I’ve done something wrong based on the pictures. Thank you all.
Here's a morning picture They love it humid and hot
Do sticky traps really work? Or what would you recommend for gnats? I’ve done the need oil and it’s somewhat working. But my OCD is driving me insane when I see these little bugs flying around. I have way too many plants so I need some help. This is a quarter of what I have throughout the house.
Can someone help in identifying this begonia
Anyone ever make a plant to do list? This is my first time tonight as I’m learning to not be so overwhelmed if I can control what I can and totally avoid that I will be honest I feel whole as hell after I finished my list. I won’t forget any tasks as they are accesible written down. I’m so at ease now and it will be even better when completed. I think I found my motivation boost Thank u for the reassurance from my last post ♥️
Can anyone identify this plant? I believe it is an alocasia. I don’t know what kind. Google says satin pothos, philodendron, algaonema but I don’t think so.
How do u parents do it when u have over 100+ plants n chores when u have kids?? It took me around 6 hrs to water and clean them all today. I feel I haven’t made time for myself so I’ve been slacking on my plants but I feel better now they’re all cleaned up and taken care of. I’m disappointed in myself but a majority of them weren’t watered for at least a week. How do u make time to complete tasks for ur plant babies when barely having time to even sleep? 😞 I’ve just been dreading all of it. I’m hoping this won’t happen again. TIA
Beauties.
