New to taking care of plants and gardening. I recently took a clipping of my familyâs Jade plant when moving house and you can see the little jade slowly growing, however it has recently sprouted this leggy thing. Iâm not quite sure what is going on or if it is from the same cutting. Any info on what I should do with it greatly appreciated!
Are my jalapeño pepper plant suppose to grow these flowers? First time growing peppers help please and thank you!

Hi everyone! Iâm still pretty new to this but I bought a Maranta in March thinking I was going to kill it pretty quickly, but look how sheâs grown! Sheâs putting out a second flower stem - I canât wait for more! (Please ignore the dying aloe in the background đ)
Hello everyone, Iâll be gone for two weeks in July and Iâm looking for tips on how to water my plants when Iâm not there. The plants Iâm concerned about are my monstera, my baby bird of paradise, my pothos and my pilea. They all have growing lights. The others are succulents so I really think theyâll be fine. Do those self watering inserts work without overwatering the plants? Or is two weeks fine to wait to water them? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated! đ€
I like big leaves and I cannot lie đ
Hi, does anyone know what type of plant this is? Itâs been at my dads house for 20+ years and he thinks itâs a happiness plant but it definitely isnât. The app thinks itâs a spineless yucca but I think the leaves are too far down the stem for that to be correct. It also desperately wants repotting đ
Does anyone know what these spots are? They are slightly transparent, and as you can tell they are on a new leaf.
yesterday i went to the store and bought a pothos. i got it from home depot because there's no nurserys near me. should i change the soil and repot it? it came in a self watering pot. i'm open to criticism, im still new to this..
Does it stress plants out to take them out of their pot frequently? I ask because I got a mini monstera and a satin pothos and when I first got them I took them out to look at the root systems and change the soil. Itâs been about a month and I realize I didnât do the greatest job planting them. They are loose in the soil and roots are near the top. Would it be ok to just take them out and manipulate the soil a bit ??
Hello! I have a general question about repotting. I repotted a few different plants (philodendron micas, philodendron Brazil, English ivy). I tried to get ceramic pots with drainage holes. But is that the right call? I have some other plants that need to be repot. Sweet potato vine, lemon coral. They are still in nursery, should I get a pot with drainage or it does not matter?
Giant sunflowers I feel like they are too close to each other what do you guys think? I would need get rid of one đ

Hello everyone! I am new to this app, and really new to plants also. I donât yet have any đą but I really want to start my plant journey! Does anyone have any suggestions on good sturdy indoor plants for a beginner? Thanks so much for any and all advice!
Notched my tineke today and I am NERVOUS. I think Iâve finally worked out the kinks of this plant. New growth is looking great! I know I should pull some of the leaves but I canât stand it being so naked. Shoutout to all the ficus parents who can keep their babies beautiful. This plant has been the death of me.
Hi, I have an African Milk Tree. It has become ENORMOUS like 2m tall and Iâve had to put stakes in to secure it after repotting. It has never grown any little side leaves and has never flowered⊠Am I doing something wrong?
