Notched my tineke today and I am NERVOUS. I think I’ve finally worked out the kinks of this plant. New growth is looking great! I know I should pull some of the leaves but I can’t stand it being so naked. Shoutout to all the ficus parents who can keep their babies beautiful. This plant has been the death of me.
Hi, I have an African Milk Tree. It has become ENORMOUS like 2m tall and I’ve had to put stakes in to secure it after repotting. It has never grown any little side leaves and has never flowered… Am I doing something wrong?
It’s kind of hard to see but I noticed this green bug on my plant. Is it a spider? Has anyone seen these type of bugs? I tried to move it to a clear container but it fell and I lost it lol

I had my husband install these grow lights on our built in bookshelves. I love how they turned out, but now after doing light readings, I’m worried they are too close to the plants and therefore giving them too much light. This is the 2nd time I had my husband install grow lights like this (the first ones were too weak) and it was not an easy task. So before I tell him I need him to fix anything again and risk him probably wanting to kill me over these lights, I thought I would ask y’all if you think these plants are in trouble of too much light. And any solutions/tips you have. Thank you so much! Here’s some details to help you out: Lights: SANSI LED Puck Grow Light, 10W (150 Watt Equiv) Full Spectrum Duration: currently they are set for 12 hours. Light readings directly under the lights: 3” below: 60,000 LUX (approx. 5500 FC) 5” below: 33,000 LUX (approx. 3000 FC) 7” below: 18,000 LUX (approx. 1600 FC) (pictures of my readings at each level are in LUX at x 100)

Need help getting started with my nagami kumquat tree, anyone have experience? My friends got me a kumquat tree for my birthday, and I need help making sure I'm treating it right. It's potted in a nursery pot right now, but they also gave me a large terracotta pot with one large drainage hole at the bottom. It's outside on my porch in Los Angeles. A few questions: * Should I repot now? If not, when should I repot? * If so, is this one drainage hole enough? * Is this soil the right mix for repotting? * How often should I be fertilizing/watering? * Anything else I should keep in mind? This is my first outdoor plant that's not a cactus, so any tips are much appreciated. Thanks!!
Three months later and I FIXED MY CALADIUM! I tried everything. Literally.. everything. And finally the pink leaves are neither crispy nor mushy nor brown! I’m so proud🌱🫧
Does anyone have the Neo PX plant? It was hard to tell it was low on water. I was curious if anyone has any tips. I can’t find anything online including the site that gives extra advice specifically for this type of plant.

Guys what am I missing here that would be causing the spots? All my healthy growth eventually trends in that direction. It isn’t waterlogged, has no identifiable pests that I can see, keeps growing steadily (so I’m not seeing stress in stunted growth), and is under a grow light. Is it that the grow light is too strong?
How should I give my plant more sunlight if the only sun access I have is on my balcony, and on the balcony I don’t have a good amount sunlight for my plant so what should I do?
My bromeliad has these odd spots all over its leaves. It also has a lot of new growth in the back but none of the new leaves have come in pink… Any ideas to what’s happening and how to fix it?
