Hi, itâs my first time ever gardening and I have this plant that is supposed to be a zinnia. Iâm not sure how to care for it. I stick my finger in the soils to feel if it needs water or not but besides that I keep it in the sun for the most part

Hi everyone! I just got this Venus Flytrap plant and would much appreciate any advice on how to take care of it. I know that I must water it with distilled or rain water which I have. But should I keep it in this container or take it out? Also how often should I mist it? Also do I have to bottom water it? I do have a grow light which stays on for about 8 hours a day. Is this an adequate amount of light for this plant? Iâm doing my own research too but any information helps! Thanks all!

I have been struggling with this calethia since the day I brought her home. First she lost all of her leaves, then I cut her back and now sheâs sprouting new leaves, but itâs taking a while. I went ahead and tried to repot her, but when I removed her out of the plastic pot, her soil was waterlogged. I couldnât take a picture of it because my hands were all muddy. So I put her back in her original pot after stuffing a bunch pumice in between her roots hoping that would dry things out a little bit. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I should also add. I purchased this from a nursery and she is in a 4 inch pot. Moving forward I plan on checking her soil with a water meter because it bothers me that sheâs so waterlogged right now.

Iâm a beginner in having jalapeños and I need someone help, I bought a small jalapeño plant from a local plant owner in my neighborhood, itâs growing beautifully but when I purchased it had 3 peppers already on it. Iâve had it in the ground already for about a month or so, the 3 peppers were still on it and I wasnât seeing huge growth in them, there still a light ish green so I decided to take one off, on the inside itâs seeds were majority brown and some regular white colored, as for the taste it didnât taste like a pepper until I began chewing for a second. Usually with a pepper itâs spicy and taste like it immediately, one more thing is that one of the 3 is slowly turning this weird orange ish brown and I just need to know if there still growing or there going down the path of rotting, there about 4 inches tall and about a grass colored green please let me know I will be forever grateful :)

Can you relocate Curcuma aeruginosa from outside to an inside potted plant?

when should i repot this little guy? it's a depressed clearweed, aka baby's tears. the pot is about 2-3 inches in diameter, and the longest stem is 7 inches long. any info is greatly appreciated!

Iâve had my polka dot plant for about 8 months and have pruned it a couple times and now it looks like this at the top. should I cut the leggy pieces off again and let it grow out or keep it like this?

Iâve never had a string of hearts before but after a couple months mine has given me so much growth and now itâs flowering đ„č (but just curious, do yâall think this one is leggy? I feel like the leaves are very far apart, unless thatâs normal)

A friend of mine recommended using blood meal fertilizer for my strawberries to keep critters away. (I had one strawberry and an animal ate it đ©đ) Has anyone used this??

Calling all fellow plant nerdsđšđ€ I got this grow light the other day and woke up this morning to my Hoya stem totally wrapped around the light pole! I am in awe and am so confused on how plants have such spatial awareness! Does anyone know how this works or how they understand their surroundings in order to do something like this?! Iâm convinced they have eyes and a brain somewhere nowđ

are self-watering pots actually good for plants/do they workâŠI put water in the section off area of the pot (where the water is supposed to go) in the morning and by 3pm all of it was basically gone(into the plant/dirt)⊠so is my plant thirsty or is it being overwatered?
