Hi my Calathea is growing however she has a lot of brown on edges of her leaves. Even a new leaf has the brown on it. I water her now with distilled water because I read they do not like tap water. I am following the appâs directions however I am reaching out for human advice. Thank you!
So this year Iâve been having these things grow everywhere on my mulch beds and in the grass area in front of our sidewalk (not our lawn). I googled it and itâs a weed called Common Purslane? What are these things really? Why are they growing everywhere all of the sudden and what do I even do with them??? Theyâre not ugly like regular weeds. I just donât know why theyâre here and what to do! Thanksssss!
Hello! this is the first plant iâve ever gotten it did not have tags so if anyone knows what plant this is please let me know! she was thriving until i repotted becuase the soil was not well draining and the plant was drowning. but since then it only seems to be getting worse, yellowing leaves and wilting leaves help!
This is my first Anthurium. Itâs a magnificum x forgetti hybrid. Iâve had him for about a month/month and a half. The two biggest leaves are new since then so I knew heâs (yes, this ONE plant of mine is a male lol) doing well but am I supposed to trim these small leaves? Theyâre never going to get bigger, right? And also, thoughts on staking Anthuriums vs letting them be?

So. For those of you with skylights, how do you count the distance of feet? I feel like the Skylight brings in more light because itâs above and quite direct though sometimes through an interact glass plane depending on style. I donât want it to be incorrect in the app, but I feel like thereâs some plant math Iâm not aware of.

Iâve tried repotting with new soil, added a riser so it would have good drainage flow and recently added the grow light. Itâs just getting worse. Any suggestions?

Can someone help me identify the second plant? I did a google image search on them, and they both came up as dracena marginata. Theyâre similar enough for me to know theyâre from the same species (genus?) but different enough to think that they would be a different sub-species(?). Sorry if my verbiage is wrong. Iâm very new to plants and donât know the correct terms. They were my grandmaâs. She passed away recently so I canât get much of their history. All I really know is the below. The lighter one had pretty old soil and was root bound. It was indoors by a west facing window with no real shade The darker one had fresher soil, was not root bound, and was by an east facing window with lots of indirect light. Is it possible theyâre the same type of plant and look so different because of their placement/living conditions, or are they a different variety? Thank you!!
Anyone know what this is? Just got the plant yesterday and it sits on my porch. It gets some sunlight but not much. Sunburn?
Okay so me and my husband have had this plant for while, and about a week ago my husband accidentally hit off the top part of it (which you can see). I was just wondering if any succulent plant owners think that itâs going to survive or if there is anything I should do to help it thrive. I will say it does have 2 little babies growing out of it so I think it should?
Why are some of my Fittonia leaves losing their color?
Help please. These 2 plants were in a bigger planter together in these small pots and they were given to me cause they started to die, so I took them out and found this mess of roots and I'm not sure what to do for them. I'm not very familiar with orchids and this one has some sticky stuff on the leaves but no sign of bugs. I sprayed them both down with neem oil just in case. Please any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the help
