Im new to planting! Ive had my spider plant for a year (woop!) Im trying to understand how to care for plants and im really excited to get into it! I have some scallions growing, rosemary and aloe vera, as well as a random packet of wildflower seeds i found that i wanted to see if they’d grow. I try researching how to care for these plants but i get conflicting information and not enough explanation. I got this super cute grow light tree too and im not exactly sure the best way to utilize it. I have it on the 9h timer for now… and the multi color setting for general plant care (i think?) my spider plant i know gets a shot of water every week and he does well, but i feel like it should be bigger by now? I really dont be knowing. My aloe vera is newest, when do i repot? Its still in what i got from the store. I also am not sure the best way to treat my rosemary? I guess i just have a lot of questions as a noob, does anyone have any tips? Im trying to use this app to understand more but honestly there is so much going on and jargon i dont always understand. Thanks!!

Temps are already starting to drop at night. Not frost yet, but decided to start the migration and acclimation for some of my patio babies in the you cant sit with us waiting lounge🫢😁

Anyone know what might caused these? All of my new born leaves have these dark brown spots. I’m pretty sure I didn’t overwater it that much. Maybe once in the past and this has become a major problem. Thanks!
Hello! I recently moved my plants indoors out of our 3 season sunroom. Is there any suggestions on placements or plants that don’t like to be near others? I have a ton of different kinds, and I’m still relatively new to this.
Second day, I’m so happy my baby has lifted a lot, we still have some drooping but not as bad as yesterday. Yaaaayyy!
I get asked many times how I take care of my plants. I follow 3 rules for all my plants. Pot size- Doesn’t matter how big the plant is. Root size to pot size. Not plant size to pot size. Soil- Chunky mix. Orchid bark and coco chips always in any mix I make. Roots like air and like to be able to freely grow through the air pockets. Repot- I almost never repot. Unless the pot breaks or roots take in water too quick. These 3 steps for me makes my plants push out new growth continuously without a pause. Everyone lives in different climates so what works for me might not work for you. But I think these 3 simple steps are common throughout.

i got my alocasia about a month ago. Its been pretty good but this leaf has started turning yellow. The leaf and plant overall seems healthy but does anyone know why this is?

Hey y'all, today I did something that 😱 scared me half to death. I separated my pot of 3 whale fins!! I had to cut 🔪 them apart. I hope they all survive 🤞🏾😁
