Iâd like to report a plant murder. Today I was taking care of my plants - watering, fertilizing - and I was carrying them to the garage in a large tray. My peperomia deppeana (Ana) lifted right out of her pot and there were barely any roots attached. I was going to try to put her back in the pot and see if she would root down again, but instead I gave her pot to my watermelon peperomia (Walter). So I just put her out in my outdoor garden and thought âif she lives, she lives.â It is a really nice terracotta pot (painted white) and Iâve been working on getting Walter going by putting him under a grow light I recently set up primarily for my monstera plants. It looks too big for him but itâs very shallow. I feel like a terrible plant parent, but I wasnât very emotionally invested in her and I swear it was an accident that she came out of her pot.

Ficus has fallen and it canât get up! Has anyone ever had this happen before? It seems super healthy, growing a ton, but I was surprised to find it had bent over 90 degrees overnight. Iâll be propping it up with a support pole and hoping for the best, but geez what a drama queen!

So I now it's still summer where l live and I have a few questions. 1) since summers almost over, and I want to change all my plants location to winter mode. I have a shelf I want to put most of them on. But it is lower light and was wondering if I should slowly move my plants away from the biggest light source. Or is that even necessary? 2) how do you get a Venus Fly Trap ready for winter? I've heard of freezing them in the fall. How long do you freeze them? When is the best time in fall?

my Yucca gigantea leaves keep browning, drying up and dying. I've kept to it's watering, feeding and sunlight schedule also changed them up a little bit to see if any will help but it keeps happening. it's still growing new leaves. does anyone know what's happening or if there's anything I can do to help it?

I feel like there may be some of you on here that get me on this! Thripedemic over here has me quite bummed! And I do soo many of the preventative pest things too⊠đȘŽ So sad, truly! Thrips have caused the loss of many of my plants. A dear, expanding hobby of mine Iâve been spending years on. Building my collection, curating it and placing them all in my home in juuusst the right places⊠Much effort and tender care⊠sigh đ Picture is just of one of the ailing pothos Iâm trying to save. Not possible with many others though

Alrighty, do we buy it? Just saw in my area variegated Alocasia Frydeks going for $17. Worth the cost and possible struggle of growing one? Mostly considering this as a plant to propagate and sell in shop
