So does anyone else get stumped on ideas on plant placement (clustertype)? I have a couple different areas, like my bedroom and bathroom that is my head hurt. 🤯 I just don't know what to do. Please give me some ideas...any and all are welcome. Thank you.
So I’m very new when it comes to plants I planted some flowers over the summer that ended up dying and the soil has been sitting in the pot outside since then I need to plant some new plants that I’m propagating, do I need to buy fresh soil or can I just use the soil that I already have that’s been in the pots?

Hey guys! New plant parent here. I’ve had this peace lily for about 3 weeks now. And when I first bought the plant this leaf has been looking a little weak. I’ve tried to help it and I’ve done everything the app told me but the leaf still looks bad. Other news. My Peace Lilly is blooming nicely in the middle. So that’s good news? Right? 😅
It may be small but I noticed that my maranta popped out an almost perfect 50/50 variegated leaf! I’m going to be admiring this little one for the next while, so pretty!
My neighbor saw I started to have a collection of plants in my outside porch. Cut these 2 things off and left me a note, “Enjoy”. Bless her heart, I don’t know what these are. Any help? I’m assuming she just cut them off her original plant. The elephant ear looking one, 1 has a bent in it like it broke, should I save it or cut it off and propagate that in water? And the other, just put it in soil and keep it moving? 😅😅😅
Oh my gosh! My “rescue” ZZ plant from Walmart that I had to repot because it was too wet in that self watering pot is looking happy. So happy, in fact, it’s sprouted 3 new leaf branches (is that what they are called?).

Hello! I had to move and repot my pothos plant which was growing very fast but only on one side because of how the sun was hitting it. I’ve noticed after the change(which maybe they don’t like) that they would droop more like this as in the picture. They would get like that when they needed water. Or maybe I overwatered it when I repotted, it does have good drainage. Not too sure, any ideas. Help!
My spider plant had been growing this BIG root and i'm not sure if it means I should repot it because it's lacking space?
Something’s going on with my fiddle leaf fig, and I don’t know what the heck it is ! There was a time last spring that she nearly completely defoliated; I thought she was a goner. But, with time, she replaced all of her leaves, and is looking really well. However, just recently, she started dropping leaves again… maybe three or four a day. I’m noticing that some of the leaves have darkened areas on the tips of the leaves, which you can see in the pictures. Does anybody know what’s happening to my plant; is she just neurotic, and every once in a while starts to defoliate??? TIA for any help you can give me about my fiddle fig… which I love! 🥲 🤗💚🪴
Made a big list of plants I’d like to eventually add to my collection over time, I’m getting a China Money Plant sometime this week or the next, but I don’t know where to go after that. Which one of these should I go for first? Hawthoria Retusa Echeverias Burros Tail Sempervivum Portulacaria Aeonium Graptopetalum Gasteria String of hearts Hoya Calathea Orbifolia Baby tears Watermelon Pepperomia Medallion Calathea Hoya hearts Lemon Button Fern Calathea Dottie Calathea Maui Queen Calathea Rufubarba Boston Fern Bird’s Nest Fern Prayer Plant I did a ton of research on all of these and any of them would work well for me, I just don’t know what to go for first. Also, I love String of Pearls but I have pets and they’re toxic. Is there a safer, alternate option? Thank you all! 😊
Got a Dragon Wing (phyllanthus mirabilis) caudex 5 months ago and it just started waking up and getting some tiny leaves. Was almost ready to give up on it.
Has anyone ever thought of being able to trade plants that you have propped… and would like them to go to a good home? Here’s just a couple of the ones I have propped, (but I have more). Is there a way that we in Planta can “share” these extra plants that we want to find good homes for? Just an idea…Comments? TIA. 🤗💚🪴

Hi community! Hoping someone can help me diagnose: I have a once very happy bird of paradise that is now showing brown and yellow decay around the edges of every leaf. I love this plant and want it to stay happy! Is this just a case of under watering or could there be something else going on? Would appreciate any advice!
