My spider plant had been growing this BIG root and i'm not sure if it means I should repot it because it's lacking space?

these don’t mind being a bit root bound. they have interesting root systems: lots of very fine roots and also these big chunky crunchy things. when you do decide to repot it might be best to cut this nursery pot off
6 J'aimeIt’s not an issue. The roots maybe reaching for the drained water. Take off the pot to actually determine if there are more roots than soil. Spider plants prefer to be a bit root bound.
2 J'aimeIf there are more roots than soil does that mean repot it?
