i watered my variegated string of hearts for the first time after repotting her and i shouldâve added a layer of rocks or bark underneath because so much soil came out the bottom and into my sinkđ guess im adding more soil when i get back from the gym and being more careful when wateringđ€·ââïž

Hi all Just looking for guidance, Iâve had some root rot issues with Arrowhead plant. Iâve cut infected root, cleaned the plant and managed to get new root successfully by keeping in water. Root is relatively short and seems when I pot it in soil, plant gets de stressed and flops Iâve placed it back in water and wonder if maybe root needs to be much longer before I try and pot again? Has anyone had any experience or advice please Thank you đ

I just got a Pink Princess about a month ago. Itâs been going down hill since then. It was in coco coir. I had it in a semi bright light and watering it when needed. I changed the soil and checked the roots. Roots are small not as much as I was hoping for the size. Still getting worse. I am thinking it would be best to put it in pon or perlite to help it in a different substrate. There are before and after pics. Any suggestions please? And thank you.

Anyone have any brand recommendations / suggestions for liquid fertilizers for house plants ? Iâve yet to buy any and would love to hear what ones you all found work well ! Iâve got a variety of plants so any specific or general fertilizers you recommend would be appreciated !! (ââœâ)â

My strawberry plant is suddenly very sad :( I bought the two baby plants last week, and immediately repotted. It was very warm, so I had the pot on my balcony in full sun (low temps were around 50F). It rained last Friday, but my strawberries were due for a water anyway. Immediately after the rain, it got cold, so I brought the strawberry inside where sheâs now a few feet away from a south facing window. Itâs definitely less light than the balcony, but still quite bright. The day after the rain, one of the baby plants is all wilted :( I havenât done anything to the plant since the soil has been slowly drying out (the top inch is currently dry, and then itâs still damp beneath that). The other baby plant in the same pot is doing great, and I just found a new flower. Every single thing has been identical for the care for these strawberries, they have been in the same pot since I got them. Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix? I know the pot is a bit large, but I added quite a bit of extra perlite to the potting soil (itâs an indoor potting soil) as well as a layer around 4 inches thick on the bottom of the pot of just perlite. As a side note, itâs still pretty cold outside (so sheâs been in my south facing window since the cold rain) and Planta says strawberries can be placed outside in pots starting in April in my area.

My first plant in my house. Need help! The soil feel dry after watering with 2 ice cubes Saturday. I feel like I should water it again but from what Iâve read on the money tree it should be 7-10 days between watering? Any advice for a beginner would be greatly appreciated! The plants in the East window in the picture.

Ok plant fam; What do I do now? My maranta has been in a self watering planter using tje wick method. With a bigger root system groing into the water now, should I just throw her in pon when the time come to re-pot or stick to the soil?... Thoughts?

Guy I was wondering does anyone know what causes snake plants to curl or twist in a way.

Can anyone please tell me why one side of my snake plant is losing leaves (left side) while the other side is growing new pups and leaves? Is it too dry or over fertilized maybe? I follow the Planta schedule to water and fertilize. Disregard the lighting in this photo - itâs actually full sun plus a grow light but my camera isnât reflecting that accurately.

Can a plant grow from just a root? I didnât think a plant could grow without a node, but Google says there might be an exception. Has anyone had any experience or success with growing from just a root? My poor little cutting did not do well, and I might have to put it in my graveyard đ so Iâm asking for any last bit of help if there is a possibility of saving poor Billy
