Hey all - I have this neon Pothos, and I canât quite figure out whatâs going on with it. I have a few other others scattered around my apartment, but this one in particular seems to have a weird problem. Itâs getting super dense towards the end and not wanting to continue vining. The leaves are super condensed at the ball towards the end and they have a lot of blackish brown spots on them and you can see a lot of roots along the stem trying to grow. Two things come to mind. Is it too close to the window and it has no way of getting further away from the direct sunlight? In the last picture, I tried to show the perspective of it in the room that it is in where maybe the air vent that blows on it is drying it up so itâs turning the leaves yellowish and causing it to not vine more? Iâm starting to think that it is simply just too close to the window for this type of plant since the other one seemed to be doing just fine that are a little further away from the window. Any help would be great!

Went to Home Depot for drywall, 2x4âs and things to work on basement stairwell wall & had to go back in and get this Beauty.. The soil was extremely dry and the leaves had a lot of damage from no lĂ”váșœ. Brought it home gave it some TLC a new pot and I will call him Two-Face ( itâs a Philodendron Carmel âPlutoâ)
Hello everyone!! This is my umbrella plant, I was wondering why it started drooping. She doesnât have an exact watering schedule.. Iâm not to good with those. But- she was doing just fine previously. I got her this winter, so I donât think thatâs the issue. Iâm just not quite sure..
For those of us in the southeastern US facing an upcoming ice storm thatâs predicted to have extended power outages along with low temperatures (well below freezing): any creative ideas for keeping tropical houseplants alive in the cold? We have a small living room with a fireplace and so far my best plan is to move as many of my plants in there as possible without getting too close to the fire, but I may not have enough room. Unfortunately it is too late to get any kind of generator or battery powered space heaters.
Found a variegated Aeschynanthus lobbianus at The Rhoads Garden today. Sadly decided to leave it behind for someone else since it wasnât in the greatest condition, but if anyone has one of these, Iâd love to see how they look once more mature or blooming đ Feel free to turn this into a thread to share any of your goldfish or lipstick plants đž
