Christmas? cactus is blooming!!
So the app is telling me to fertilize my baby red Earth star (looks pink to me thoš§š©·) every couple days, and I'm wondering if that is a little excessive and also I have it in my dragons vivarium in the same planter as a baby snake plant which I know doesn't appreciate a lot of fertilizer so what should I do separate the plants, or heavily dilute the fertilizer? I keep snoozing the fertilizing notification but it's stressing me out š©ššŖ“ they seem to be doing okay under this t5 10.0 bulb
just repotted a majority of my plants so hereās to a quick appreciation post for some of my favorites š
Planta is telling me to water my birds nest fern every day- is this correct?
My never never plant seems to have the leaves curling in on itself. Now I think that it could be down to dehydration, however I am adhering to the schedule. Could it be too much daylight now that the sun is getting warmer in a westerly facing window? It will be great to hear people's thoughts.
any tips on propagation of hoya and string of turtles? i have them in a terrarium w sphagnum moss but im jot sure if the hoya would do better in water?
Excited to use this app to keep all these plants happy. We have terrible ground āsoilā so Iām limited to using pots but happy to see them doing well
Looking for advice on my rubber plant! I bought this rubber plant from Costco about a month ago and placed it in a bright spot near south-facing windows. Since itās Feb/Mar, the light isnāt super intense. Within the first two weeks, the top two leaves developed spots. I did a bunch of Googling, but didnāt find anything helpfulālots of conflicting info. Based on the situation, Iām guessing itās sunburn. The plant came from a dark warehouse, had a big environment change, and only the top two leaves (getting the most direct light) are affected. I moved it to a shadier spot, but it feels too dark for a rubber plant. Now that itās had a month to adjust, Iām thinking of slowly moving it back to the brighter spot. Has anyone had this happen or know if this is sunburn? Is it a good idea to move it back to the sunnier spot now that its had time to adjust? Would love some advice!
Why is planta so water-happy? Like it must always be monsoon season with the water schedule it gives. I sometimes wait 10 or 15 days after it recommends watering before I feel they are ready. Itās nice to be reminded to go and check on a plant, but is there any way to make this more accurate?
Can anyone tell me whatās going on with her..? her leaves are drying a lot and you can see where a lot of them i had to take off bc they were crunchy and then some leaves have little gashes in them that kinda looks like a cut
Look at the difference from 2/27 to today. I love this color
A happy vine plant that can climb things; makes a happy plant mom. š
Hello! I bought this plant with a slight lean but now the lean seems to be getting even worse. It looks close up like itās pulling out of the pot. Any suggestions on how to correct this? I tried to have it face sunlight in the opposite direction to try and straighten it out but that hasnāt worked.
Hey all! So Iāve had this sedum for almost a year, got it in a much smaller pot and have recently repotted it. Since Iāve had it it itās grown really well and the green parts look really healthy, but once each little branch has grown out enough all of the green near the base dies, and it only stays green and healthy at the tip of each one. I thought it would help repotting it but it hasnāt. Any tips??
Any good plant recommendations for an east facing window?
Any plant recommendations for a bedroom with a south facing window? Please share!
Any ideas on what this plant is?
i took over taking care of this christmas cactus from my mom, and i wasn't sure if i was doing it right, but then it started blooming. i was pretty sure they only bloomed around november-january so im surprised. has anyone else had this happen? is it good or is it bad somehow?
Iām thinking that the super long shoot is a light issue. This snake plant and my two zzās have the same thing happening. Before I move them or add a grow light, I thought Iād see what feedback I could get from this group. Other than the super long growth, they are in great health.
Found some yellowing on my guzmania plant, any advice for what to do?
