Hey plant peeps, I need some creative ideas on how to hold this large baby up. She is a dark stem giant elephant ear (alocasia). I have little clear stakes in but her leaves are too heavy for them, a stem almost snapped due to the weight of the leaf. I donāt know much about moss poles but I donāt believe this plant would need one? Iāve never had a plant this big and heavy but I love her. Idk, help š
hi friends! i might be moving to a different state soon, one with much drier humidity from where i am now and iām very worried about the process of moving my plants and baby sprouts, what are some things i should know and/or try to prevent when moving plants?
Hello! I just rescued this prayer plant from my local grocery store. This is my first prayer plant. Itās looks pretty healthy except for a little bit of browning on one of the leaves and I think itās root bound by the roots coming out of the bottom of the pot. Do they like to be snug in their pots and root bound or do I need to repot? Should I remove the brown leaves? Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)
How long should i keep my humidifier on for my plants? I just got a new one and donāt want to grow mold on my plants.

Suddenly my once thriving monsters is getting all kinds of brown leaves. I had it about 6 get from a north window and it did great. Now it is very sickly. I put it closer to an east facing window but am not sure what it needs now. Help!
Got a Hoya cutting from a friend today. Any tips and tricks for a successful propagation? Do they do well with water propping? If I laid it on itād side instead of burying the tip, would it spawn roots from multiple nodes? TIA

Hi! I repotted my pitcher plant a week or so ago and before that it was super happy and healthy. Now itās droopy and pitiful. I think it might be the soil and drainage. Can someone advise? I think the soil is too dense but idk for sure. Thank you in advance!
So, i am a bit of a newbie to properly caring for my house plants. I need to fertilize soon. Should I be using different fertilizer based on the type of plant? What about plants that have been recently repotted? I am seeing a task to fertilize, but am a little nervous about it. Any advice?

I have been growing garlic for 3 months. 1 month in I noticed some eggs on it. 2 months into growing them the plants started dying and there was flys so I brought the yellow thing and a tablet that kills the flys. Another month has passed and thereās still larvae crawling around in the soil and thereās only 1 leaf still alive. Is there any way I can save the garlic
Was given this baby (its name is firefly, itās a farfugium japonicum - leopard plant) a few days ago!! Iām already so attached to it lol Iāll probably buy this subscription to help me care for it šš!! the soil was dry and light brown this morning and I could see some browning on the tips- so I cut them off. I watered them until some water came out from the bottom. Touched the soil and itās damp on top but on the bottom, itās so wet it leaves water droplets on my finger. Any more tips on what I could do? I misted the leaves a while ago but one leaf developed brown spots in the middle of it, is it because of the misting? Any help would be so appreciated ššš©·š©·š©·!!
So I feel really silly now. The second photo is a plant I already have, and the first photo is one I accidentally added to my cart on a live sale while purchasing other plants. I know they are both Syngonium podophyllum, but are they the exact same? Iām not sure which one I already have, I just know itās an arrowhead. The first one says itās a āSnow Whiteā on the sale. They look extremely similar to me.

Does anyone use Treleaf modular trellises? Iām trying to decide what kind of support I want for my new philodendron. I love how they look, and would be willing to splurge on them if they are sturdy and long lasting. What have your experiences been? Iāve also thought about going with a moss pole, but Iām a bit intimidated and have heard mixed things.
Hi plant friends! Looking for some recommendations of types of plants to get for my space. I want to make sure Iām picking ones that are best suited for the environment. I have a west facing window in my bedroom that Iāve got a ton of plants sitting on the window sill currently. I also have a sliding glass door that leads to a balcony thatās a south facing āwindowā, Iād say itās bright to bright indirect most of the day. Any suggestions for west and south facing window loving plants??? Apartment friendly! :)
