It sucks when you have to sacrifice the lower leaves for the new growth😩so I clip them to speed the process up 😖🤷🏻‍♂️

What’s your view on repotting plants that are doing well? Planta recommends repotting four of my plants and all of them are thriving in response to a new fertilizer I’m using. One has new leaves unfurling and new shoots as well right now. Will the shock of repotting be too much? They all need better draining soil but will go back into the same pot they’re in now.

I started finally noticing some good growth on my baby monstera & was looking into little moss poles.. until my cat knocked the pot off the window sill and snapped the stems 😭😭 my boyfriend who really dislikes plants went the shop and came back with a beautiful replacement🥺😍 I’ve put some of my broken stems in with it hoping they’ll grow back ❤️

Hi, I’m a little confused about overwintering. Could someone help me understand? Planta is saying my cyclamen doesn’t need any fertilizer right now because of overwintering. I honestly have no idea what it means. Thanks!

Has anyone got flowers from their HOYA Crimson Queen? I’ve watched a lot of videos and seen a lot of people that they say they never get it on their queen. And if you do, please tell me how you do it? I live in California. I have self facing windows and it thrives in that environment and it loves it. I’ve got tons of growth, but no flowers. Thx 🥰🌿🍃🌱🌱

I read that they weep tears, anything I need to know when they do this? Also does it look to close to the above grow light? Tia🤍🪴

Hi. I have this fab Monstera and its juts sprung up a new massive leaf which is soooo stunning. However it also has lots of smaller baby leafs and I’m wondering if it’s two plants and I need to seperate the part with the small leafs and the part with the big leafs? Or shall I just let us carry on? It shot plenty of space around the base and no roots out the drainage hole… is it ok as it is?

Hi everyone!! I’m kind of a new plant mom? i’ve had 6 of my plants for a long time, but i recently moved to arizona from california, when i moved i left all my plants behind for about 9 months, i recently just went back and brought them home with me. HOWEVER. before i moved, it had been about 6-8 months since anyone had new soil or been repotted. it’s now been over a year, and given i got new plants recently i decided it’s time to repot everyone. except idk what i’m doing. the plant store i bought the 6 from, made their own soil in the store so that’s what i used and what the 6 all have. they’re all indoor, 2 dracaena, aloe, ZZ, and 2 snake plants. what kind of soil do i use?!! and what liquid fertilizer do you guys recommend. tips for my other plants are much appreciated as well. for reference i also have a cactus, ivy, and philo?? (the last one has a ripped tag so idk what it is really) can i use the same soil for all of these plants? same fertilizer? who needs more/less sunlight??? i recently came to the realization that i have no idea what im doing and i don’t wanna be a bad plant parent😭😭 ALSO are coffee grounds actually good fertilizer for your plants? or if i try that am i going to kill them all?? if they’re good, what do i do? like sprinkle some on top, or mix it in with my soil??

I've been growing my String of Hearts for a year and a half, and it's over 10ft long! It's trailing onto the floor but I can't move her any higher. Question: how would you hang it? The stems are so delicate I'm afraid to use a regular snap holder on the wall. Suggestions?

Hi! Over the winter, I bought this unmarked plant after seeing it half dead on the rescue/clearance shelf at my local nursery for about $2. After getting it to perk up, I thought it was a peperomia rana verde. But recently, some of the new leaves it's been growing have started showing a beautiful red color along their veins and edges (it might be a little difficult to see in the picture). At first, I thought the new color could be a response to the change in grow lights, as I moved it from under a white grow light to under a pink grow light (that's also when it started showing this color). But now, I'm wondering if it's the light, or if it could just be a different kind of peperomia. Any ideas?

Hello!! I was wondering if anyone know some plants that look good in Halloween theme! I saw some black and purple-ish plants at The Home Depot and didn't get them... But they were so peculiar. They look so Halloween :) I want plants like those. Maybe a fly trapper gives halloween too...

2 quick things I would LOVE help with my angel wings: 1. Why is the leaf literally dripping? Like what? 2. What’s the burn mark? I just got this today so I’m thinking sun or fertilizer. Thanks.
