Plants have become my therapy. This is Cathrine.
I’ve had this orchid for about 6 months now, but i just can’t seem to make it healthy or bloom. If you have any tips tricks or advice i would love some.
So this is my 2.5 El Phanty 🤣 when i say 2.5 I mean that she would be in 2 leaves strong and I always know when the 3rd is coming cause she start to look like this . I don’t know what I’m doing wrong any recommendations? I would love to make it past 3 healthy leaves but that’s asking for to much clearly lol
I just got this plant recently, and was wondering about any care tips. It sits on my screen porch, and faces mostly east. I’m in Lowcountry SC and need tips to keep it thriving!
I picked up some Hoyas today. Any suggestions or tips are welcome. First time owning any kind of Hoya or even seeing one in person 😱 the Burtoniae was a clearance rack save. The other two I found at a big box store.
Curious, what is everyone do during the high temperature heat of the summer? I water mine if it’s 90 and above, give them all a little sprinkle!!❤️
Is my spider plant healthy? It seems the right shade of green and its reproducing but the bottom of it looks almost white? Im not sure if thats normal or not?
Saturday Spotlight! Highlight a plant that deserves a little bragging 😍
What type of high quality soil do you recommend for tropical plants? I’ve looked at a couple options but I’m interested to see what you all think.
Need help identifying these. Planta says they’re an Asian bell tree Bastard copper leaf and a Peperomia hope. I don’t have enough knowledge to know if that is correct.
The plant that started it all💚. What plant started your collection?
We bought this baby and is very squishy in the middle, is there anything we can do to save it or is long gone?😓
✔️ Raven Zz 🖤🪴 It’s just a baby! Best tips?
So I ordered two tissue culture plants 2 very rare monsteras and have no idea what to do when they come I’ve watched so many videos on what to do but if anyone has any tips for best growth and progress drop your tips and tricks!
Hello plant parents! This croton mammi shed few leaves from the middle, bottom leaves are good, leaves on top are good but weirdly middle leaves were fallen, any idea why that might be? And what is the solution? Also I have this plant for few months now but don’t see any growth, its pretty much the same as I bought it, any suggestions please. Thank you 😊
What would you do? My braided hibiscus tree is doing great but these babies popped up. Per the app they are identified as hibiscus plants, I guess when her blooms fell some of the seeds planted? My question is should I remove them or leave them alone??
Happy Friday!! What kind of planty plans are on the agenda this weekend?! 💚 I desperately need to get out and do some weeding 😬
Has anyone ever had success starting a pineapple plant from just like an organic grocery store pineapple top? Considering a try for fun to see if I can do it lol
Help me pick my next plants (6-8). I live in the subarctic and most of the plants here are what you would find at the grocery store or they are very expensive. I’m having a friend bring plants from my favourite nursery when she comes and visits and I need help picking. It’s very dry here so anything that needs humidity has to stay in a greenhouse. Being able to propagate is important to me as I want to share these varieties. Something uncommon or interesting is also essential. What are your top picks to add to my budding collection?
Planta is recommending that I fertilize my new Butterworth but I thought they didn't need it since it's carnivorous? I would like to get more babies out of it so I'm guessing that's what the fertilizer is for. What fertilizer do you recommend using? Or should I turn off the fertilizer reminders? Thanks plant friends 🌵
