Hello! Do these brown spots look like some sort of fungal infection? Iâve never had a spot like this on one of my plants. Thanks Iâm advance!
Quick Question My Fellow Plant Parents. So I Changed Out My Soil With New Soil For My Plants But Living In SC I Try Not To Have My Plants In The Sun For Too Long On The Balcony Because They Get Really Hot & Start To Crisp Up So Iâll Put Them In The Shade As Well & I Mist Them From Time To Time. But I Noticed That When Itâs Really Hot Out They Tend To Wilt But Once Itâs Cooler Out They Bloom Right Up. Also After I Water Them The Next Day Or 2 Theyâre Completely Dry. What Can I Do So That Theyâre Not Drying Up So Quickly?
Found looking sad and depressed in the street yesterday. Re potter, fertilised and watered and so much happier!
Picked up this fella at Trader Joeâs today. Heâs a leaner and when I go to repot, should I cover up the excess stem with soil in order to make him not lean??
my aloe is next to a humidifier, do you think this will affect my plants health? itâs a small humidifier but the mist sometimes passes by this gal and touches it.
I was given this spider plant when it was an absolute baby. It has been doing so well and itâs 10 times the size it was when I first received it. However, recently, the leaves have started to bend and crack, and the stock of the plant seems floppy like itâs not well supported. Does this mean I need to repot it? Or is it possible itâs not getting enough light? I recently moved it to a lower light area in my house. Plenty of indirect light, but no direct light. Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated.
Hello all. Somewhat beginner plant enthusiast here. I have a parlor palm that is doing quite well. Lots of new growth and new fronds everywhere but today I noticed a white coating on the top of the soil that looks like mold. Iâm reading conflicting things ranging from normal to gotta get rid of it. Any thoughts??
Hey I got this flamingo flower for my birthday and itâs doing some interesting things. Have no idea what exactly is happening. There is browning and crisping on the ends, does anyone know what might be happening with it? I brought it back from Memphis to Chicago.
THEY LOOK AMAZING, the philodendron leaves are so big that they are making the pot topple over đso I think Iâm going to repot it. Does anyone have any name ideas?
Found some Moss outside my job today and I was wondering if I could take it from here and make like a terrarium??? Would that work? Would it die if I moved it from here? What kind of Moss is this?? I'm new to Moss but I'm very interested in it!
hi friends!! tried a new thing today.... inspired by the comments on my last post about avocado stem art! i looked it up and it IS super cool!!!!! i sorta went down a rabbit hole and learned all this stuff about weaving stems and avocados and bonsai and got super excited and decided to try something like it with some (extremely) leggy kalanchoe seedlings that I tried to start in my windowsill and then later moved under a grow light but it was too late and i still couldn't get them to branch! so! i know this is not legit bonsai (cause its a non-woody plant) but i thought it might be fun to try and i certainly enjoyed creating it!! very excited to see how she does!! đ€đ»đżâš (also no worries i did NOT let noira eat any kalanchoe leaves đ )
what is the best way to tell if your plant doesnât have thrips anymore?
Felt like this was a good bargain to share, and winter will be here before we know it.
What does it mean if leaves are splitting like this? I love this little guy and she seems healthy otherwise aside from this.
Help! I picked this up for the sole reason of âit looks coolâ. No label and the nursery had no idea. It was the only one they had. Any guesses? Or better yet any solid answer đ
Maybe a silly question, but does anyone give their new plants a bath? For context, my grandma just gave me two of her outside plants (Syngonium and Aglaonema) and I worry about pests upon bringing them inside. Any tips are appreciated!
Does anyone know any places that sell cheap(ish) but good quality philodendron melanochrysum?
