My question today is a bit heavier then usual. To all my people who struggle with mental health how do you cope with maintaining your plant tasks and how do you manage to treat and recover both yourself and neglected plants. Iâve had a rough few spots lately and as a result Iâm experiencing what feels like a plague affecting everything under my care. Iâm super overwhelmed and Iâm just wondering how you cope with these experiences and the feelings associated with your plants failing in some ways. It feels strange because usually Iâm able to be the one to offer plant advice to those in need but itâs hard when the shoe is on the other foot. Any advice or just any ideas on what I could do to help with anything is welcome I just need some advice on what I should do. Thank you in advance.
Heyo! Beginner plant owner here! I planted this zinnia about 2-3 days ago and heâs growing! But I noticed he still has his seed covering his leaves. Do I need to remove it, or will it fall off on its own? Any advice is great, thank you! đ
hiii, so my algerian ivy is doing amazing, my only problem is itâs getting really long and kinda leggy. i was wondering if thereâs anything i need to do to maybe fix that? or what i can do with the longer stems? am i supposed to prune it or propagate it or hang the vines up? because one of them has hit the floor and another is growing straight at my wall 𫣠iâm sorry if this seems muddled or if you canât make out the pictures but iâd love some advice if anyone has any, thank you <3
PLANTY MEME TIME!! âšđȘŽđ± Can anyone relate to this one? (You gotta tap and zoom out on the meme)
does anyone know what this plant is? it was gifted to me and any plant identifier keeps mislabeling it (the pictures clearly donât look like the plant). thank you!!
Can you guys help me identify my plant? Iâd just like some opinions on what type of plant you think she is. I think she may have been mislabeled at the nursery. đ
Grabbed a few air-plants. Never had them before so any advice would be great đ
hi yall!! i need help identifying my ivy!! i bought him from lowes a long time ago but the only thing i remember is that the cultivar name is francis! doesn't look quite like an english ivy & seems fussier & less of an easy keeper than english ivies are supposed to be- when i first got him he kept losing all of his leaves and almost dying on me đ was not fun there for a stretch but he has mostly settled down now! i am also not sure what's up with the dead patches (?) on the edges of some leaves? hope the pictures help!
Does anyone know what this is? I canât remember for the life of me and the scanner is giving heart leaf Philodendron (which I have one of and they look nothing alike) and white bird of paradise (which also doesnât seem right).
My cat palm is really struggling as of late. I had it on the floor and thought maybe it was taking too much abuse from the dogs tail. So I put on a stand. Is it not humid enough? Sunburn? I donât wanna lose this guy. It has two nice big leaves unraveling (slowly).
I am having trouble with my plant that I am growing from water! There seems to be fungus growing on the roots and I donât know what to do! I tried running it off a few days ago but it just keeps coming back! Pls help!!!
I recently got Frank, my first ever Fiddle Leaf Fig. Heâs looking happy with new growth but Iâve never been so nervous about caring for a plant đ€đŒ

I hope I can recuse this thaumatophyllum (I like philodendron selloum better đđ). Got it from Loweâs for half off with being overwatered & too much sunlight. âą right pic was from yesterday and the left one is from todayđ€
Iâve never needed more plant help than I do right now! Still a beginner but getting braver and adding more and more (too many) to my little plant family everyday. I took a leap and ordered from Etsy sellers and had two amazing experiences and figured wth, itâs safe! So I ordered from a tik tok shop a âmystery boxâ. I was proud to support a small business, the seller was also a mom of a young child etc. Fast forward to what I received which was ofc nothing like advertised, and the seller wonât answer messages. Please help me identify what I can only decipher is a medley of a bunch of plants? Iâm sorry but I hate it. If you guys can help me decipher what all the different plants are, should I separate them? I think I correctly IDâd a golden pothos and a pothos njoy. Beyond thatâŠ.đ€·đœââïž. Iâll be glad to send more pictures for anyone sparing me their precious time helping me break this silliness down:
Can anyone identify this plant. I got it from Loweâs on clearance with no tag, couldnât find any similar plants.
Ok.. just when I thought I had the room arranged perfectly, I took a photo and can see the lighting in the room. Could you help me arrange my plants? lol not sure if the whole photo will be visible.. I have some grow lights but I was trying to give everyone ample natural light if possible.
So this sweet little alocasia was nothing but soil all winter. I watered it lightly and kept it in a warm place. I put it outside when the weather became warm enough and this is what it did. Yay! I just brought it in the house because nights are getting chilly. So what do I do with it now? Iâve never had one survive before.
Hi, friends! Just got this beauty from Whole Foods but I have no idea what it is. Anybody know? Any tips on how to care for it?
