Iâve been trying to grow lavender from seeds for months and today I accidentally knocked the pots off my windowsill đ. Not all the soil fell on the floor, so I was able to save that but most of the soil I had to throw away because it got dust and dog hair in it. Luckily no seeds have sprouted yet so no plants got damaged. My plan is to plant some new seeds and try again. However, I have no idea what soil to use! I have all purpose soil, as well as cactus and succulent soil. Any ideas on what I can add to the soil I managed to save? Or would it be better to buy a soil mix just for lavender?

Hey guys, Iâd like to pick your brains. I want to downsize my collection for the winter, ideally by selling some plants. It would be nice to recoup a little money for my crazy hobby lol. Would you buy plants from someone who set up a table in your neighborhood? What kind of prices would you be willing to pay? I want to charge equivalent to what my plants would be worth at the local store, but it would be a bummer if no one wanted to buy them at that price. I also have props, cuttings, and a few plants that need some TLC which I would definitely sell at a big discount
NOXXX!!! :)
Hiii, I just got this plant from my sister, she said itâs a tree of some sort. Any ideas on what this is?

Iâve been working on succulent propagations for months, and many of them didnât make it, but some of these are finally ready for their own pots!

My satin pothos keeps on growing bare vines. Does anyone know why? I keep on cutting it back hoping it will start generating leaves with no such luck!

Hello! I recently purchased a grow light for the upcoming fall/winter months. The lights have three colour options to choose from: Blue and White, just White, and White and Red, and gives little detail on the box for what's best for what. I have some succulents under them right now and some foliage I am hoping to add under it too!
What's the best setting to have it on?

Hey all! I have a cat, so Iâve always made sure to buy non toxic plants when I know theyâll be in his reach. Heâs never shown any interest at all so I finally got a plant Iâve wanted for a long time, a monstera! Like clockwork, as soon as I bring it home he wonât stop messing with it, and trying to bite the leaves. Itâs bigger and Iâm not able to move it out of his reach. Any cat owners have advice on how to keep him away from it?

Hi there! Iâve had this plant for a while now and picked it up on clearance at Home Depot but have no clue what kind of plant is it. Anyone know? (There was no label on the plant either /:)

Hello! I have a foliage plant not exactly sure what type but recently she has been drooping really bad to one side. Most leaves look good some have brown but the rest are very vibrant! I honestly think sheâs too top heavy and I need to trim some of her leaves but I donât know how to do that properly! The first picture is her right now (i am watering her to see if that helps) the second is how she looked only a few weeks ago. I did move but she is still in a window that faces the sun just like the window at my house so i donât believe she isnât getting enough sun, maybe sheâs getting too much now.

Thinking about getting a grow light for some of plants, but i have no idea how to use it. Do i have to get a glass cabinet or something? Should i get a greenhouse that i can put on a desk instead? Can all plants have grow light? And do i leave the light on all the time or only a certain amount of time everyday? Sorry only one more question! Where could i get a grow light?
Thank you all in advance!
Sorry for all my questions! đŹâšđ

So I havenât watered my monstera for 9 days and I checked the soil today and it is still SOAKING wet. This has never happened before with this soil type before, does anyone have any ideas?

My marble pothos has little white things on the leaves, soil, stemsâŠ. And the leaves are turning more yellow. Iâm not sure what to do. This has never happened to my other plants. What do I do?? Do I repot? I truly have no idea what to do with this poor plant and would love help

Iâm so happy!! My sting of hearts was getting way to long so i decided to propagate them and make babies! AND OMGGG THEY ARE SPROUTING!! so i repotted them in their own and discarded the ones that didnât make it so cute đ„șđ„ș.

First time having these! Do they look ok? From two different vendors.... the small ones are from one and the larger ones from another. Some have been getting tall... do they need more light or is that how they grow? đ€·đŸââïž

Just curious! If you still remember, what was your first ever plant? Is there a story behind it, and is it still with you to this day?
Mine was an oregano, one of those "living herbs" you can find at a supermarket. It died in a few days, but I wanted to try again and got another one (plus a basil plant)... and now here I am đ€

So my Dieffenbachia has always had a âdroopyâ look to it, but my SIL who gave it to me when it was a little guy says it looks like itâs dying. But itâs always looked this way, it still grows a new leaf every couple of weeks. And itâs leaves are always green. But just wondering if anyone else has one that looks droopy?
