A lot has changed since my last post. Lost some plants, got some new ones, broke up with my girlfriend of nearly 3 years and living on my own for the first time. Hi, I’m new here, My son received this umbrella plant from his sister as a graduation gift. She’d given him one when he was in 8th grade, we left it too close to a window during a freeze last year and it didn’t survive, so this is sentimental -and we need help!! He’s been careful with watering- it sits about 3-4 feet in front of a window….from the photos, can anyone tell us what it needs? How can we make this one a thriving success story?

Update: the Historic Banyan Tree in Lahaina that was heavily damaged in wildfires is showing signs of life! It remains devastating how much damage was done to Hawaii, but this is hope 😊 I wish to see the community make a steady recovery
