(unpopular?) plant opinions!
i’ll list some of mine, you share some of yours. let’s see if we agree or agree to disagree!
1. i don’t like coloured plants (ie. not green/white)
2. small leaves > big leaves
3. hanging/trailing plants >> climbing plants
4. growing plants in leca (ie. semi-hydro) is majorly underrated
5. hoya is the best genus
6. cacti/succulents are easy to care for, and grow quite quickly during the growing season
7. when people say that they don’t like peperomia, i cry (justice for peperomia hope)
8. i hate golden pothos, i think yellow variegation just makes plants look dead

Accidentally knocked these babies off my ficus and want to preserve them to make into resin(?) pendants for my partner and I.
Has anyone ever done something like this and have advice? I was thinking of pressing it (like a flower) to dry? Not sure.

A lot has changed since my last post. Lost some plants, got some new ones, broke up with my girlfriend of nearly 3 years and living on my own for the first time. Hi, I’m new here,
My son received this umbrella plant from his sister as a graduation gift. She’d given him one when he was in 8th grade, we left it too close to a window during a freeze last year and it didn’t survive, so this is sentimental -and we need help!!
He’s been careful with watering- it sits about 3-4 feet in front of a window….from the photos, can anyone tell us what it needs? How can we make this one a thriving success story?
