Funny planty memes for the mid week slump lol 😂
When doing progress updates, it won’t let me add under ‘worth noticing’. Is this happening to anyone else?
Does anyone know why my bamboo is turning yellow on the side?
I have discovered that bottom watering plants is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS since I have so many plants that need to be watered every day. It just blows my mind because it makes watering so easy and much less tedious! One question; I’m using this method for my moisture loving plants, BUT, can I use the same method for plants like corn plants, pathos, or anything that needs to be totally dry before I water it? Normally I would use a wooden stake to check for moisture levels in these plants to see if they are completely dry. CAN I BOTTOM WATER PLANTS like these THAT NORMALLY LIKE TO DRY OUT COMPLETELY? TIA for any return posts. 🤗💚🪴 PS. Here’s a few of my plants that like to dry out completely, and there’s more, 😵💫!
Was gifted a Caladium yesterday. Doing my own research, but if anyone has tips or advice I’m open to em!
Hi all! I wanted to ask a general question regarding moss poles. I’ve currently got a D-shaped moss pole that i water around every 3-5 days. How long does it usually take to see a noticeable increase in leaf size? For reference this is a pothos njoy/pearls and jade. Pic was taken about a week ago and roots are well attached now and stem is thickening.
First bloom with me🫶🏻🥹
is there a better time of year to repot plants? I have some plants that are growing so well but their pots are looking pretty small. I don’t want to disturb the growing season. or have them go into shock while they’re using the energy to make new leaves.
Should I use Miracle Gro Protects against over and under watering soil for my aloe vera or should I trade it for Miracle Gro Succulent soil?
I’ve had this plant for only a few days and a native moth has already found it :)!
Quick question. If my potting soil has fertilizer beads already in it and claim to feed for 6 months, is it necessary to still use my liquid fertilizer? I use the miracle gro houseplant mix and the miracle gro succulent soil (NOT the palm citrus one. I’ve had too many gnats with that). The liquid is the miracle gro one where you squirt it in and done. Just wondering as this thought just popped in my head. 🤣
hi ! so this is my first time posting and even though i’ve had plants on and off for 10 years now, i’m still a beginner. can i repot my baby and somehow lay the leggy stem on the soil for the nodes to hopefully grow roots?? if this won’t work please let me know!
Can anyone tell me what this is and how to care for it?
Question.. many of us have the same or similar plant stands.. the bamboo ones from Amazon.. anyone tried painting them??
First calathea over here! Advice?!!
Top water or bottom water? I used to bottom water plants and let them soak until the top of the soil was wet. However, we now have way too many plants to let plants just sit in trays for too long. If I top water and let the plant soak up any water from the saucer, how long do you think I should let it soak? 15 minutes? 30 minutes? Longer?
So I’m quite new to the pepperomia life and recently my watermelon plant sprouted its flower spike! Should I cut this flower spike if I want her to grow more bushy?
I want a new plant, any suggestions?
