Grow Light Usage Winter time is approaching, and I'm already at the point where sunlight is very limited. I have a grow light and I'm fairly new to this. Question is, how long should I have the Grow Light on over my plants per day? Thanks in advance
Hi! I just started using this app and really like it so far, but when I added my Shamrock it told me to prepare it for winter dormancy. I t thought shamrocks were dormant in the hot summer months, not winter. Which is correct? Thanks!
Hi plant peeps! 💚 I was wondering if anyone had any idea what this plant is? I propagated it from a random leaf so it isn’t fully grown but it’s dark green with pinkish tips and almost a waxy texture. Plz lmk your thoughts! Thanks so much!! 🤍

Have I cold shocked my new plant? I bought this guy about a week ago and he was in the car in ~50 degree weather for a few hours. Since then, he’s lost about half of his leaves- they’re just falling off with the stems attached. Looks like the leaf stems are rotting, although I’ve inspected the whole plant, including the roots, and I’ve seen no pests or rot anywhere. Help! Edit: I have transferred him into water. Hopefully he will do ok.

Dear All.. advice needed asap.. going out of town for a week. Gave all the kids a good watering so not worried about them being thirsty whilst I’m away but what should I do about lighting? I can leave the blinds open but the natural lighting is not enough. Should I leave the grow lights on? What’s worse, 6 days with minimal lighting or 6 days of 24 hours of light ?? TIA…

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my pest control regime… it’s super easy and effective for thrips and spider mites. I add clove (10-20 drops), rosemary (10-20 drops) and mint (5-10 drops) essential oils to water and mist weekly. When I had a thrip outbreak in the summer I watered with the mix for two waterings and it was the only thing that worked 🤓🪴
Wondering if my ruby cascade is getting enough light. Looks a little etiolated to me and I think the reds aren't as saturated as they could be - but I'm not sure. She's about three feet from an east window, but I could put her in a hanger 2 feet closer. Opinions please!
Rescued from IKEA. Initially straight up, but for the first month, it tilted directly towards the sunlight. Was told to rotate, but that was about 3 months ago. Dont know if it’s okay and hibernating for the winter, or there’s a real problem. Please help, thanks.
