What is your PREVENTATIVE pest routine? Not after you’ve discovered some pesky invader, but what you do regularly to try and keep pests at bay? Ready GO! (pic of my Burke-Marx who is getting a leaf shine today)

I have been looking for a grow light for my avocado tree. The issue with most of them is that they are not bright enough. Is this a good one?

So some kind of way, a corm of an alocasia found its way into my Audrey ficus, Fran, and now she has an adopted son đŸ„°. I named him Niles.

I know next to nothing about Flaming Katy’s so can someone tell me what it’s doing please. Is it blooming again and the flowers are now purple? I’m confused!

I’ve got this fiddle leaf fig that I’ve had for about 6 months. I’m the first 3 months it was doing great, grew two new leaves, and looked like it would grow a third soon. Then one day that tip just sort of dried up and it never grew anything. Since then it’s always looked perfectly healthy, but no new growth. Anything I can do to help spur it along? Watering and light I don’t think are the problem. I didn’t really change anything from when it stopped growing. I’ve moved it under a grow light about six weeks ago, but still nothing.

Does anyone know what could be causing this on my monstera? Happening only on the new leaves. Gets enough water.

Help! I think my pothos is dying. I just repotted them in new soil. The roots were extremely dry. It’s now day 3 in their new pots but doesn’t seem to be bouncing back to their normal selves. Any advice to save?? Thinking to maybe propagate in water. Side note, the healthy one just got potted from water.

Hello, any recommendations welcomed! My son recieved this plant last year on the last day of school. He left for the summer but kept the plant at our friends and they have kept up with the plant. My son got 3rd place and now wants to care for the plant and we have no idea how. He has a spider plant and that's all we know. Thank you in advance!

Wanted to share this mix I found on Amazon. I’ve been adding a handful or two to the soil depending on the plant’s drainage needs. I really like that there’s diatomite in this! Highly recommend looking up the benefits of diatomaceous earth (diatomite). On Amazon Search Bonsai mix and the first photo.

My felt bush is doing great, I bought it from a closing store and happy to see it thriving now. New plants are growing from the old dropped leaves! I had no clue!!

Recently picked up a ZZ plant I plan on prepping for gifting my friend as a housewarming gift. I’m new to this plant, so if anyone has any tips to share, they’d be very greatly appreciated. Checked the roots yesterday and found he was VERY root-bound and has a rhizome the size of a small potato. I ended up having to cut him out of his pot, removed all his previous soil (didn’t seem chunky enough) and replaced it with Espoma’s Cactus and Succulent mix. TIA for any tips! â˜ș (and feel free to turn this into a thread to share any tips or tricks for any other ZZ plant owners)

Just a heads up, I don't know if it's at all Walmarts but I was just at the Walmart in Seabrook New Hampshire and they had their plant foods, rooting powders, etc.all on clearance. Picked up some rooting powder for only $2.50!
