Help! How do I know when to repot my propagations? I’m very new at this😭

Hi everyone! My ficus elastic tineke is super happy and has probably doubled in size in the last 2 years. That said, one of the branches has always leaned out to one side. This has never been a problem, but I can see it becoming one as time goes by. The plant is also trying to straighten itself at the top. I’m unsure if it’s one plant or two, and if it’s two plants the roots are probably completely intertwined. What do you think I should do longterm with it? Just provide a support, or should I do some investigative un-potting to see if I can straighten the whole branch/plant? Or maybe there’s something else?

Plant friends! A few questions for you! So I just got this app about a few weeks ago and I'm not sure about a few things on it.Maybe someone could help? 1. So I have this brightest sunnies room in the house where I have decided to put most of my plants. Window is facing south.I have a window sill and two shelves on the sides. Now. When measuring light do I point it at the window that is what it asked me to do and have just one site or create the other two sites also for the shelves and do I measure light towards the shelves where the other plants are at not located on the window sill? 2. When asking for size of my plant not the planter do I measure how wide or how tall it is? Thank you everyone! Also when I measure window sometimes it says full sun and sometimes it says part sun part shade....

How do I stop my plant’s leaves from getting stuck in a gap between the drainage pot and the other pot? The leaves end up growing really weird and bent because of it.

I got this Philodendron for free at Home Depot. (If anyone could identify what kind of Philodendron that would be appreciated) I found the whole just sitting on the shelf out of the pot. I asked a worker if I could take it and they said yes! I just wanted to ask if this looks like pest damage before I put it in my room full of plants and expose them. TIA!!! ❤️🪴

Anyone know what type of cactus this is? It just sprouted up in my yard (only the length of a finger) would love to identify it so I can take care of it properly. The plant identifier claims it’s a Cow’s Tongue prickly pear, but I’m not sure that’s correct

I am sick to death over this. My Plant was doing so well when I had it in a spot over my kitchen sink then I moved it into my husband‘s office because I didn’t think it were prior as much light but now this is what it looks like despite being back and it’s original position for Weeks, please tell me that I can save it

Hi everyone, I need some advice on how to help my plant recover. It’s had a rough start—it was very dehydrated and wasn’t getting enough water or mist. After some care, I managed to get it back to good health. Unfortunately, one of my cats recently started nibbling on the leaves, and now many leaves are missing. It’s looking pretty awful again. I’m wondering what I should do next to help it bounce back. Should I cut the limbs that don’t have many leaves on them to encourage new growth, or is there something else I should try? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! (Also, I’ve tried to block off the shelves the cat was reaching, but for future reference is there anything I can do to keep him away from the plant?)

Hey guys, I bought a few plants the other day and just noticed that the roots are very much coming through the bottom of the plants, I have 2 questions: 1. Is it time to repot or will they be okay? As I’d rather not repot as I don’t have bigger pots rn. 2. Are the roots rotting on the first pic? They’re a lot darker and black compared to the others or any other roots I’ve seen but the plant in question looks healthy? (Attached the plant) Tia:)

Ok, if I want to snooze today so I can check tomorrow, which one do I use? One says skip 2 days. What’s the other one?

About a month ago, I was given a small propagation of a red Anderson. I did as the lady told me to and everything seemed to be fine. About a week ago I went away for a few days, I had moved my red Anderson into my house under a grow light for 12 hours a day. It was extremely dry when I came back and I immediately watered it, and it hasn’t dried out since then. Any care info appreciated! I’m new to propagations!

I am about to repot my lovely asparagus fern and take it out of its pot to find its roots like this. I was shocked! Does this look alright? I’ve shared a photo of the pot it’s going into (larger)

I know they say houseplants don’t hate you, you’re just not meeting their standards. But I ordered a 4 pack of Calatheas once and one died almost immediately. I’m convinced it saw its new surroundings said “absolutely not” and checked out.

I received this beautiful basket with about 6 or 7 different types of plants in it. I want to keep them all alive and thriving, and I'm guessing I'm going to have to repot them at some point into different pots. Seems like a daunting task to me, since I've never had anything like this before. Any tips on how to care for this lovely display and keep them all healthy?
