Not sure if this fits, but I saw some beautiful mushrooms while on a walk :)
Posted this ghost plant a few weeks ago worried I had killed it because I was curious on how her roots were, unpotted her and then repotted her in the same soil and I think I didn’t water her for a few days after that. But I have been watering her somewhat regularly and I have been away the past few days, came back to see she is trying her best to survive!!! Growing little air roots. This is the first plant I’ve owned, got her back in April, and I’m just so happy she isn’t dying 😁
Repotted a few of em, added some hue bulbs and a small Buddha fountain. Loving how it turned out.
My Hoya Kerii has white discoloration on the stem but the leaves appear to be fine. I’ve had mealy bugs in the past (not this plant) and I’m not noticing the tell tale stickiness or white sticky webbing around the leaf nodes. I also don’t see any bugs. If it was powdery mildew wouldn’t it affect the leaves as well?
Is this a suitable sized pit for this cactus, or is it too big? Also, does anyone know why this cactus is flattened? It’s gradually flattened over the past few months
why has my leaf dropped?? i just brought this home two days ago and the leaf was fine and now it’s dropping already. this just happened to my last alocasia
got a new plant :) just a question, (Hoya kerrii btw) does it like to be humid? I have misting spray I use on my philodendron and I’d like to know if it like to be misted too.
WHERES THE SOIL 👺😡 On a side note thing is taking over my terrarium
Update: I removed the plant from the soil and sure enough I had root rot and the soil was super soggy. The soil is dense, so I switched out the soil with a less dense and lighter organic soil with moisture control. I soaked the roots in hydrogen peroxide and now the plant seems to be revived. Leaves that were once brown have returned to their original color. I checked out my other plants and 3 of them had the same issue. I went ahead and repotted all of them and soaked their roots in hydrogen peroxide as well. Thank you to everyone for the help :) Original post: New plant mom here! I bought this pink polka dot plant a few weeks ago and it seems like its life will be cut short very soon. The leaves are turning brown and falling off and I'm not sure why. I live in a north facing apartment, so I have a grow light to compensate. I've been following the watering schedule provided by the planta app. Any suggestions of what I can do to bring it back to life?
ok so recently i repotted a bunch of my philos and added them separately to planta but it’s not using the photos i took of them, instead it’s using the generic plant picture and i can’t get it to change them, does anyone have any idea why the app is suddenly doing that or if there’s something i can do to change them again?? 😖
I was just gifted this plant which I’m pretty sure is an Inchplant. I have an Inchplant already which is purple & silvery & hangs. Can anyone confirm this is an Inchplant and tell me if this should be in a hanging pot too? Thanks!! 🌱
Just wanted to show off my cactus and her blooms!
Please help friends!! They are all over my plants soil. I used cayenne pepper and cinnamon already but I’m open to any advice!!😭
Does anyone know what this is? It was given to me by a friend and is apparently some sort of orchid?
My zz is doing very well in the corner :)
Golden pothos is doing…. Something? What is happening here and is it bad
I don’t know how to care for this and what alacasia is it three leaves have already died
I want to make a small terrarium with some moss from my driveway. Any idea what type of moss this is? I live in the Midwest. Thanks!
Is it safe to cut the damaged leaves? I’ve had this plant probably close to a year and a few leaves were damaged during shipment. It has since grown a few new leaves and currently starting to bloom.
