iâm thinking about getting this plant for myself: i know some Alocasias can be difficult, how is this one? I only have north facing windows and would probably keep it inside with regular humidity, no extra humidifier.

is my poor dieffenbachia done for? i placed her in the bathroom window for just one day and she got roasted. i plucked all her yellowed, crispy leaves, and all her remaining green leaves now look like this a week later đą she has a few new little leaves popping up, but theyâre all yellowing on the tips. is there anything i can do to save her?! she was my favorite, so lush and happy đ

What do you guys think is the best medium for growing alocasia corms? Iâve tried unsuccessfully in water (took 6 months for the first leaf to sprout, then I forgot to refresh the water and it died). Iâve got some variegated alocasia Frydek corms coming in January and I want to give them the best start possible.

My bird of paradise, Junie, is doing so good after my move!! Two new big leaves unfurling. I was so worried about her but she is absolutely thriving in this little corner of my new room, she gets lots of good light in here âșïžâșïžâșïž

So about 6 weeks ago I purchased a âluckyâ bamboo at IKEA, on the way home it had an altercation with other purchases and snapped cleanly in half. The top half went into water and now has roots.. the bottom half with the original roots has done nothing..will it ever put out leaves or am I wasting my time?

Droopy peace lily. Can anyone help me? Iâve had this peace Lily for years and heâs been in the same pot all those years. I just replanted him in a slightly larger pot a few weeks ago. And Iâm noticing he has times of becoming droopy. When I see, heâs droopy, I water him, but Iâm worried about him. I appreciate any thoughts or ideas :-)

the two windows i have (north and south) for my plants are constantly blasted by the heat/air vent above them, should I place my humidifier closer to my plants? i don't have many high places and I worry putting the humidifier too far away won't help them. where should i put it?

My flap Jack is growing a second plant but the bigger one isnât doing so well. Iâve had it for two and a half years, and it just randomly popped up. I could use any suggestions to make sure I donât kill both. đ (Update: I took some of the dead leaves off)

What is happening to my beautiful peace lily?!! It has been doing fantastic and suddenly the leaves are turning black and crumbling. It is in a south facing window (off to the side) for the winter months. Any help would be appreciated
