This red plastic pot got knocked over, so I pulled what I thought were all of the corms out of it, and it sat on a stand in a corner for two months before I put Christmas cactus cuttings in it. Then about a week ago I noticed something sticking up out of the soil and figured it might be a long-forgotten corm. Well, I just got back to check on the greenhouse stuff yesterday and found that I had a whole, tiny leaf, AND one of the other corms finally sprouted and should be putting out a new leaf soon!

Quick question: how do I stop the plant from overflowing so much out of the pot and help it grow upwards, or is it supposed to do that (because it makes the pot fall over)?

My monsteraâs leaves are turning yellow and dying. Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent this? Itâs quite cold in NY and thereâs not a lot of humidity but I donât have a humidifier. Iâm also having trouble keeping the new leaves alive! Any tips would be appreciated. (I water it when needed and let it drain thoroughly)

Thoughts on self watering potted plants? Is it helpful or do they overwater plants? Has anyone used them?

hi there, i know everyone here is likely more interested in their jungle at home than the forests of the world, but our planet is dying and i keep seeing people recommend buying distilled water for houseplants. distilling water is a labor-intensive practice and produces so much waste, especially in the form of plastic jugs. if you have chlorine- or mineral-sensitive plants iâd highly recommend switching to collecting rain water (which has lots of other benefits besides being mostly pure, like itsâ slight acidity and trace amounts of organic matter) or filtering and treating your tap water.

Zevo Products - Pricing Information
Hallo.
Recently I purchased the Zevo plug in with 1 cartridge and a single box with 2 refills. I did so based on recommendations here and all i can say is..
Wow! It is Amazing how many gnats it lures in!
My roommate is very thankful it works so well. And so am I.
Thatâs the good news. The bad news is Zevo thinks people are stupid and will pay any price for anything.
So some shared price research:
- It looks like the H.depot has the Zevo unit and 2 pack bundle for $21.33 which is the only value saver and an actual value bundle.
- The 4 refills in the single Value Pack is NOT a value saver. It actually costs more than buying two packs of 2 refills.
Iâm going to write to Zevo, because writing to companies still does work to create change, and I plan on informing them of their no value pricing ways.
Just thought Iâd share to save someone else some money.
