If I’m using a grow light for my plants, and I don’t have premium, should I list the environment as full sun or something else?
Happy new yr!!!! 🎉🎉
Can anyone please tell me what type of plant this is.
My plant hasn’t been growing the same, it stopped sprouting randomly, the tip like closed off, and then a weaker one sprouted along side, the leaf isn’t as pretty, it’s like wilted but still growing…. Any tips?
Is anyone fertilizing plants during the winter months ?
Never had this problem before, but what do you do about your cats getting into your plants. My kitten has chewed off two leaves of my one string pothos… she is so good and then all of a sudden she acts so bad and chews. I am not in a position where I can hang it nor move it to another location due to not having enough light in other rooms. Any ideas?
My succulents weren’t getting enough light so I got a grow light, I’m wondering how long I should have it on for and when I should have it on, and if I have a grow light on it would the environment be considered like a full sun environment or like part sun environment in the window or what?
why do leaves on my massive areca palm keep going like this and very crispy? i’m cutting more leaves off than it grows which isn’t good!!!
Picked up this beautiful rubber plant at the local store today…im in love
This corn plant has been in the family for like 20 years. On my first move it nearly fried in the uhaul and lost most of its bottom leaves. During my last move one of them snapped in half, but I noticed today 3 new little growth points near the cut end. Look at her thrive!
When I first started in the hobby a couple years ago, I paid top dollar for this monstera deliciosa albo as a small rooted cutting. It is about 2’ tall now and a new leaf is coming soon as you can see. It’s one single tall stem. My concern is that I’d like it to be more bushy and full, not long like it is. Plus the lower leaves are ugly and have had to be trimmed due to browning of the white. This plant likes to throw half moons. Would you prune and propagate this and replant in the pot? Would you do two cuttings, top and middle? Or simply chop it in half and prop the top to replant in the pot. Any advice greatly appreciated. I would wait and do this probably in March.
Picked up at Kroger today. Anybody know what it is? Thinking it’s an alocasia/elephant ear of some sort. TIA! 🌱
Hi does anyone know what plant this is?🤨 I got it by a creek there were a lot there. I'm in South Carolina btw.
Hey I don’t have Planta premium and I don’t know the name of any of these plants if anyone could tell me that would be great
This is the plant that gave me SO MUCH HEADACHE this summer. Huge thrips infestation that ultimately impacted SO MANY of my plants. She’s thriving now. But who can tell me what the big, yellowish thing is. There are at least two more (smaller). Not worried, just curious, as they seem a part of the root system.
i planted some tradescantia cuttings i had in water (they had thin roots on) but every cutting just flopped over and the stems went soft, does anyone know why? they’ve all been put in the bin now.
question of the day: what do you do as soon as you get home with a new plant?
I’m not usually a fan of viney plants, but found this pothos in the as-is section of IKEA this morning for $5, so figured I’d try to save it. I also found these cute little glasses there for $1 each. I’m going to use these try out their Odla pellets with some of my smaller plants.
Anyone have an idea of what’s going on with my syngonium podophyllum? I’ve had it for a few months now and I’m new to house plants. It’s not really thriving and just looks poor to be honest.
Why is my snake plant growing like this? The smaller one wont grow!
