My oxalis are one of my favorite plants!
Just a reminder to always isolate and treat new plants that you bring into your home…never had pest issues before and I just found mealies 🥴
How long does it typically take for Planta to add suggestions for plants? I’ve tried a handful that don’t seem to be getting added even though I’ve given suggestions from the actual information tags with the plants weeks ago. Like, Jade Craig compacta or the Reverse spider plant (Chlorophytum Comosum Variegatum). It seems like a lot of the mini plants aren’t in here.
Lots of my succulents are flowering!
I purchased some grow bulbs for my light fixtures in a room with no windows. If I put the frosted glass cover back on over the bulbs, will my plants still benefit from the light?
Kinda cool. A flowering Golden Pothos. Never seen this before. I didn’t even realize they flowered.
Seeking advise on caring for my bonsai tree. Is it normal for bonsai trees to lose all their leaves during the winter? I went on vacation recently and came home to all my bonsai leaves gone ☹️ I have it in a window, so it’s receiving plenty of light and I water it about once per week.
I want to show off this healthy little Ogre Ears I picked up from Ikea earlier this week! Obviously I named him Shrek. He goes with the shirt I got from Box Lunch last week 👀😹 *Smash Mouth's "All Star" starts to play as KillerTofu's post concludes*
Struggling Calathea! Does anyone have some suggestions on what might restore this poor plant to its former glory? It went from beautiful and healthy to losing all its leaves. Two more have sprouted so there might be hope. But I don’t want to kill it by trying to help it. Thank you!
Pelargonium season is almost here again and I’m just about to prepare mine for the upcoming spring time! 🌿 Do we have any fellow Pelargonium/Geranium fans here? 🌸
My alocasia keeps having leaves that are turning yellow. Is this from overwatering or underwatering?
Would love you tips on how to replant a fiddle without killing it 😅
When I first got my Moth Orchid, the roots were nice and green. Now, the roots are green..but they have weird brown scabs on them. (And by roots I mean the roots above-soil) please help, what’s going on?!
Anyone from California having problems with snails/slugs? The rains have caused the devils to get into my beautiful plants and start eating them! Any recommendations?
I heard that adding a few dry crushed oats that soil is good. Is this true?

Look at this fuzzy little guy doing the best job on my variegated pink lemon tree! 🐝🌸🍋

My new anthurium just put out a new flower, but it is so droopy compared to the old ones— anyone know why this is?
I added a special new little guy to my plant shelf. This squirrel was my Grandfather's favorite knick-knack. If this squirrel ever went missing, my Grandfather would have a fit lol. My Grandfather passed away over a year ago in January of 2022. We were really close and he made my childhood very special. He was a plant guy; had flowers planted all over his garden and kept his back and front yards looking nice and full of green and color! With that being said, it was a no-brainer to put his favorite squirrel among my plants and have a piece of him live on in my (indoor) garden. My Grandmother said my Grandfather never gave it a name. I think I'll name him William (Billy), after my Grandfather. 😌🐿️
