Does she look okay? I bought her two days ago and I’ve never owned a prayer plant before, I’ve heard they’re very hard to keep alive so just trying to do my research!
I know they naturally droop throughout the day but I’m not sure how to tell the difference between normal “not praying” vs dying!
She is moist but not soggy and I am trying not to overwater her. I know prayers need high humidity which I don’t have in my home so every now and then I will keep her in my bathroom for a few hours when I have a bath so she can take in some moisture between watering

Does anyone know what this plant is? I wanted to buy it in sainsburys but they had no information as to what the plant is, and I only buy plants if I can research about them to make sure they are safe around cats! Thanks in advance 💗

Is there a function in the Planta app that calculates the amount of water needed for each plant? Not just how often to water.
I know my other app PlantIn can calculate the much water is needed based on type of llant, pot size, soil type, light etc.

Looking for a hanging plant that can handle full sun in a south facing window. I’m fairly new so an easy to medium care will do. I love foliage but not great with flowers.
Someone suggested a spider plant. What is your favourite window hanging plant?

I noticed new leaves growing on a whole bunch of my plants today! Even on some of the plants that are always unhappy with me 😅.

hi everyone, this is my calathea ornata. i’ve had this plant for a little over a month and a half and noticed at the bottom of the leaves there are many drops of sticky residue and small sugar-like grains. i was wondering if this is normal or am i doing something wrong?

Why is my Chinese evergreen drooping? I place it in my window during the day so it gets enough sunlight but it’s seemed to have lost its pep. No yellowing leaves or any change in color. Thoughts?

I bought this very sick philodendron in the “last chance” section at a food store. She’s still looking pretty unwell BUT we have new growth! I named her Hope because I have hope she’s going to pull through and be a beautiful girl!
