Greenhouse Libby

My Ivy used to be full and lush on top and it has lost all its leaves there. The arms seem ok but everything on top yellowed or browned or didn’t change colors and just fell off. How can I rehabilitate this poor baby? I would love for her to be bushy on top again!

Haaaalp! I took this formerly sad Ponytail Palm from my mom’s house to rehabilitate it. She said she’d had it for 25 years, and the poor thing likely hadn’t been repotted in equally long and looked sad and wilted. I gave it a bigger pot and fresh soil, and within a few weeks there has been some new growth in the top. I was so excited for her to start filling out again and put her in the car today to take her back to my mom’s house. I was driving so carefully but hit one turn a little too hard, and she toppled over and the head snapped off right above the brown part. Literally it looks as if the trunk was decapitated!! Is there ANY chance of saving this plant?? Will the trunk be able to grow new leaves if I continue to care for it. I places the entire top in water immediately, but I can’t imagine that it will just grow roots from the head. I’m so sad and MORTIFIED to tell my mother. Any guidance or expertise appreciated!!!

This is my first orchid. These roots don’t look great but idk much about them. I was told to only keep part of their roots submerged and dry them out every 4 days. đŸ€·đŸœâ€â™€ïž Any tips?

I’ve had this burrows tail for like 2-3 months and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. All the leaves are pointing upwards and they’re squishy and shriveled. At first, I thought I over watered it, then thought it got too much sun. Maybe I’m just not leaving it alone long enough? I only water it once a month now. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’m STRESSED.

Got this really pretty pink illusion from my local target. I took it out of the pot at the store and it was already rootbound. Which I figured bc it was literally stuffed into a planter that’s as visibly tooooo small. Most leaves look good but should I be removing these brownish ones? If so, do I remove them from the root or cut them? NEW PLANT MOM HERE. Most my basic plants are beautiful and thriving. This one is new to me.

What is this? I got it from my neighbor who didn’t think it was a spider plant. I did a scan and it said spider plant and then it said corn plant. đŸ€·â€â™€ïž

I need help identifying. I bought these cuties at Home Depot but the tag just says tropical plants. I spotted them while I was on my way to check out, scooped them up and walked faster before I second guessed my life choices, so I didn’t catch the name. I want to care for them appropriately. Thank you! đŸŒ±

is it time to repot? My monstera deliciosa has a small root peeking out of the drainage holes and one peeking over the top of the pot. I know they like to be a little squished and she’s currently pushing out a new leaf, so I don’t know if I should repot! I’m still a bit new to repotting and knowing when (I’ve had plants for about a year and still am pretty new to this)

Hello plant experts! I could use advice on this Fiddle leaf. I purchased it from the Sill and it arrived almost dead. Planta told me it probably wouldn’t make it but I could try. I’m happy to report it’s come back to life and has been sprouting new leaves. However it’s new growth is coming in on the bottom on what looks like new branches. Should I be putting them into a new pot by itself or is this normal? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you have a lot of plants you should consider investing in a fish tank because it’s great for propagation and you can water your plants with the water from your fish tank after a water change.

i’ve been trying to bottom water my plants more because I’ve heard it’s really good for them but I’m not sure how much water or how long to leave them in for. Any tips or tricks are very much appreciated!!
