Alright folks - is this a root growing 8 inches up my ficus elastica burgundy? I put keiki paste on the growth point next to it many months ago in hope of a branch (my doggo broke a leaf off there and it looks really bare). That obviously didnât happen but now this thing is poking out. Sheâs also grown like 6 new leaves at the top since then. Iâve been debating chopping and propping her - maybe this is the sign to do it? What do you think?

What are you all using to clean your plant leaves? I have several plants whose leaves need cleaning but Iâm not sure what to use. Iâm hoping to maybe be able to use some stuff I already have around the house instead of having to go to the store again

hi everyone, I needed a little help with my plant right here. Itâs a peacock plant. I recently got it and I got some advice to put it over pebbles with water to help with humidity. I also got advice to use filtered water rather than tapwater so Iâve also been watering it with filtered water. However, I do notice that there are a good amount of leaves dried up towards the bottom of the plant. I wanted advice on how to fix this issue so my plan could be healthy. At the same time Iâve also noticed new leaves that have Came out of the plant. For more context to I also live in Southern California. It is currently between 80°F-90°F in the day time. I do have a window AC that i run during the day to keep my room cool. The plant is no in the direct path of the air, itâs about 4feet away near a corner. If anymore context is needed I would greatly answer it, and take any recommendations for how to care better for this plant.

I cannot figure out what Iâve done wrong with my elephant ear plant. Iâm following plantas instructions on lighting and watering and every leaf has slowly turned yellow and died. Now my final two leaves are goners⊠I repotted to make sure there wasnât root rotâŠ. Any thoughts?

I wasnât supposed to get more plantsâŠ. But I rescued two from clearance at Loweâs so I got 6 plants for $54 which feels like a good dealâŠ. Plus one little freebie cause I found a golden pothos vine on the ground and theyâre supper easy to root

Recently repotted by alocasia into a chunky soil. Itâs orchid bark, perlite, and leca balls. Wondering if I should add some moist moss on top of the soil to keep it moist? Also how often should I water the plant when using this type of chunky soil. I have added photos for reference. Thanks in advance!
