How do you know when it’s time for a bigger pot?

Hi! Does anyone know how to take care of these two plants or any tips? I believe the left one is a ficus ruby and the right one is a Audrey ficus! Comment some tips or tricks. Also I believe the black to the left may be sick since it’s supposed to be more of a red color.

I bought this unlabeled plant at Lowe’s and I can’t figure out what it is! Planta keeps saying it’s a pothos but I’m not convinced. Any ideas?! The leaves are a bit thicker and more textured than any of my pothos plants.

Currently sitting in the living room surrounded by plants because 25mph gusts just tore through out of nowhere and I had to scramble to move 50ish potted plants in from the porch 🙃 Whew that was crazy! I’m glad I was sitting on the porch when it started or else I might have gotten clued in by shattering pots instead!

What’s the ideal plant to grow in a pot like this that gets mostly only indirect sunlight? Tried a few and they keep dying on us

So I did a thing. Not sure if cooked, ate, or flopped but, my pothos plants has been getting brown tips on a few leaves and I assumed it was due to it not being humid enough, my room is quite dry. I’ve been thinking and brainstorming of a way to help it be a bit more humid without having to get a humidifier quite yet. I’ve been sitting on a few ideas for a couple days when today I was cleaning and it hit me. I’ve got these two empty clear containers just having taking up space maybe I could make an impromptu greenhouse for my plants. I moved some things around and I think this might work. Sprayed some water on the inside and adjusted my grow lights. What do yall think? Yay or nay?

Any thoughts on what’s going on with my newly potted ZZ ? I pulled this one from my larger ZZ ~5 days ago and the bases of the stem have rotted and detached from the rhizome. I’m going to propagate the broken stems, but can I try to replant the rhizome? My guess is that I replanted it in soil that didn’t have enough drainage.

Does anyone have any experience with this plant? Amydrium Medium ‘Silver’ also sold as ‘Silver Spiderman’ It’s been very slow growing. Have it in 60% humidity- watering throughly when dry - gets 12 hours of bright indirect light with east facing window and I also supplement with grow lights with my plants in afternoon.

Got this zz as a gift it was a prop so I sturdied her with some sticks 😅 any tips or tricks appreciated, never owned one before !

Hi everyone, a couple of days ago. I put a post about my peperomia Hope. And noticed that my leaves were wrinkly looking and very soft. It was previously in a terra-cotta 5 inch pot. I’ve taken it out of the pot to see how the roots are. There are hardly any roots on my peperomia! YIKES. I’ve been very consistent with watering and light. But now how do I get more root growth? Or what do I do?

Hi everyone! New here. I'm going away for 10 days, most of the recommendations here is to water every week. Should I water more then usual before leaving or just wait until I come back and continue?

Anyone know what this is? It’s a random bulb I found in my cabinet. I’ve had it in water and the yellow leaves turned green and I’m about to put it up cause the bulb is getting squishy but I have no clue what it could be!

Hey all! I have this Purple Heart spiderwort I got from my aunt as a cutting back in April that I had propagated, and it’s been growing very well. I had the chopstick in to keep it growing vertically but noticed it was growing tall and thin. She said they normally grow down and hang so I didn’t have to keep it propped up. Well, I can’t keep it propped up anymore unless I tie it. I’m wondering what the normal characteristic/look of this plant is? Do I let it hang? It’s just one piece so I think that’ll look weird. Can I cut at the stem to propagate more pieces of the plant to grow? I’d appreciate any help or advice how/what to do with this plant moving forward. Thanks!
