My neighbor saw I started to have a collection of plants in my outside porch. Cut these 2 things off and left me a note, âEnjoyâ. Bless her heart, I donât know what these are. Any help? Iâm assuming she just cut them off her original plant. The elephant ear looking one, 1 has a bent in it like it broke, should I save it or cut it off and propagate that in water? And the other, just put it in soil and keep it moving? đ đ đ
Oh my gosh! My ârescueâ ZZ plant from Walmart that I had to repot because it was too wet in that self watering pot is looking happy. So happy, in fact, itâs sprouted 3 new leaf branches (is that what they are called?).

Hello! I had to move and repot my pothos plant which was growing very fast but only on one side because of how the sun was hitting it. Iâve noticed after the change(which maybe they donât like) that they would droop more like this as in the picture. They would get like that when they needed water. Or maybe I overwatered it when I repotted, it does have good drainage. Not too sure, any ideas. Help!
My spider plant had been growing this BIG root and i'm not sure if it means I should repot it because it's lacking space?
Somethingâs going on with my fiddle leaf fig, and I donât know what the heck it is ! There was a time last spring that she nearly completely defoliated; I thought she was a goner. But, with time, she replaced all of her leaves, and is looking really well. However, just recently, she started dropping leaves again⊠maybe three or four a day. Iâm noticing that some of the leaves have darkened areas on the tips of the leaves, which you can see in the pictures. Does anybody know whatâs happening to my plant; is she just neurotic, and every once in a while starts to defoliate??? TIA for any help you can give me about my fiddle fig⊠which I love! đ„Č đ€đđȘŽ
Made a big list of plants Iâd like to eventually add to my collection over time, Iâm getting a China Money Plant sometime this week or the next, but I donât know where to go after that. Which one of these should I go for first? Hawthoria Retusa Echeverias Burros Tail Sempervivum Portulacaria Aeonium Graptopetalum Gasteria String of hearts Hoya Calathea Orbifolia Baby tears Watermelon Pepperomia Medallion Calathea Hoya hearts Lemon Button Fern Calathea Dottie Calathea Maui Queen Calathea Rufubarba Boston Fern Birdâs Nest Fern Prayer Plant I did a ton of research on all of these and any of them would work well for me, I just donât know what to go for first. Also, I love String of Pearls but I have pets and theyâre toxic. Is there a safer, alternate option? Thank you all! đ
Got a Dragon Wing (phyllanthus mirabilis) caudex 5 months ago and it just started waking up and getting some tiny leaves. Was almost ready to give up on it.
Has anyone ever thought of being able to trade plants that you have propped⊠and would like them to go to a good home? Hereâs just a couple of the ones I have propped, (but I have more). Is there a way that we in Planta can âshareâ these extra plants that we want to find good homes for? Just an ideaâŠComments? TIA. đ€đđȘŽ

Hi community! Hoping someone can help me diagnose: I have a once very happy bird of paradise that is now showing brown and yellow decay around the edges of every leaf. I love this plant and want it to stay happy! Is this just a case of under watering or could there be something else going on? Would appreciate any advice!

I need to invest in some new grow lights, and I know very little about them. Iâve purchased lights from YADOKER, and one of them has stopped working; itâs only about five months old. I researched Amazon, and found that LORDEM plant lights, may be better. I know that SANSI lights are well liked, but I need a telescoping light for the heighth, since some of my plants are fairly tall. I am getting a blue/red plant light for my Flamingo Lily, since she is blooming right now. Any info regarding plant lights would be greatly appreciated⊠TIA. đ€đđȘŽ
I accidentally added liquid fertiliser whilst bottom watering my pingula and I donât know if this will kill my plant it was in the water for 5 minutes does anyone have any advice?

Why is my plant so tall with not many leaves?? Anything Iâm doing wrong? Sheâs right next to a window and gets watered enough
Is this bad?? This is my Scindapsus Silver Hero. It doesnât look like damage, it looks like water-log or whatever itâs called when the cells burst due to water consumption, but the soil is nearly dry/ready for watering, and the âpatternâ puts me in mind of thrip damage. And since Iâm currently battling thrips in another section of my jungle, I want to be sure this isnât it!
