Ok so I took care of my itch today 😂😂😂 I had the monstera in my hand but changed my mind when I seen these. The dark green variegation on the snake plant hooked me.. anyway philodendron heart leaf #2 aka Bella and then Forrest my snake plant.
Humor. Being known as the “plant lady” feels like owning a truck…everybody wants your help moving. I’m just over here learning too 😅🌱
I’ve got two jades I rescued from a couple of mixed succulent planters from Lowe’s, and I’m trying to figure out what to name them. I was thinking Sadie and Ellie (after two of my cousins. They’re sisters), but I’m open to any suggestions for these two. They don’t need names that go in a pair. I might add the variegated jade to my other variegated jade, Bianca, so that one might not need the name if I add her to Bia. The crosby’s compact is the one that really needs a name 😂 TIA for any help with naming these two.
My money tree is growing small shoots at the base. Should I trim them off or let them grow?

Does anyone know how to tell if your snake plant is in good health? Mine puts out new shoots but they’re very skinny, and the leaves appear to be twisting and fanning out

Picked this lovely holiday cactus up yesterday at The Rhodes Garden. Very excited to have another one in my collection, but as usual, I’m very indecisive about picking a name for my new plant. My dad suggested Venus, but I’d love to hear anyone else’s suggestions to help me figure out what to name her. TIA for any help in naming this one! 😊
Does anyone know why my aloe plant might be growing this new leafy sprout? I’m not sure if it’s part of the aloe or just a weed that found its way into the plant when growing. Otherwise she seems very happy!
My purple passion plant is really happy and thriving. The roots are starting to worry me: do they like to be rootbound or should I repot now? Also, is it supposed to be getting so tall/less bushy/leggy?

Ok so this is my Rescue Fiddle! It was dying inside the house so I moved it to the atrium… got it new soil and I bought a liquid plant food the recommended at my local nursery. I also added that water base underneath with rocks so it stays moist. Aaaaand now is not dying haha. Well I look at all that new growth! I’m so excited! 🙂↔️🙂↔️🙂↔️🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
😭😭 HELP. I finally got a variegated SOP. And it arrived in the mail, all of the other plants were flawless as usual. (I order from this business a lot) It’s completely mush. And this is what I’m left with. I could cry. Is there a way to propagate this? I know the string typically has nodes, however I’m kind of lacking in that department. Can pearls be propped on their own???
Just brought this cutie home! Can anyone please tell me what it is and any care tips? I’m assuming it’s a succulent that prefers to stay dry. I’m hoping to place it near my south facing window with indirect light most of the day and a little direct sun.
I love my spider plant but why is the tips turning red and brown I just pruned and some leaves have scars please help is it getting enough light?
I’ve tried growing arugula. I planted these late last month. The weather has been very inconsistent, abnormally cold, and raining a lot. It’s originally been kept up on a covered deck and got part light. I did unfortunately neglect my plants for a week and I’m trying to make up for that but any suggestions to keep this plant alive would be helpful.
