I’m thinking about possibly getting a Fiddle Leaf Fig, Monstera, Bird of Paradise, Money tree, and Rubber plant and was hoping for any tips or tricks? They would be much appreciated!

These are all wildly different plants with wildly different needs, so my advice is not to get them all at once. Wait until theyre thriving to get another. And if youre getting full grown plants, for the love of god do not set the think straight in a bright window. Keep it in a dark corner and move it closer once a week. Especially monsteras… many monsteras have burned to death in new homes.
いいね 1件I was going to put the Monstera infront of a northwest facing window, my house doesnt get much sunlight since is in basically the middle of the woods, so would that be okay?
0件のいいねOf course, monsteras love light and need it to grow big leaves, you just cant put a brand new monstera directly in the sun. I have a $20 grow light thats on a 24 hour timer for my monstera, it wakes me up in the morning and she gets plently of light ☺️
いいね 1件ohh okay! Thank you!!!
0件のいいねOut of those, the fiddle leaf and rubber plant will probably be easiest (ficuses are super durable), but personally I'd go for the bird of paradise or a weird monstera
いいね 1件Really? Ive seen a bunch of ficuses dying from shock after they were brought home
いいね 1件Really? Because my ficuses have all been very hardy and forgiving of mistakes. Maybe F. Benjamina is tougher during moves?
いいね 1件Interesting.. ill definitely consider that!
