Got this new spider plant as a gift. Need to repot her because the pot she came in didnât have drainage holes. Iâm actually thinking about repotting most of my plants. Started my plant journey this year so I thought miracle grow was a great choice but I realized the drainage is poor now that Iâve done a lot of research even if I add perlite and now a lot of my plants have fungus gnats because the soil stays wet way too long. I even delay watering when Iâm reminded to on the planta app. I guess my question is whatâs your go to chunky soil mix even if itâs one that you buy already made?

My newest additions to my plant collection! I got these from a local plant shop. The second one is Portulacaria Afra (I think thatâs how itâs spelled), and the first one is Echevaria Topsy Turvey. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for these babies? Any advice is appreciated!

I need help as I am new to the plant keeping. Do I repot these two babies or should I leave them. If someone could please give me some advice that would be appreciated.

Can anyone tell me if Iâm supposed to let this plant dry out all the way to the bottom before watering again? Itâs super picky and Iâm afraid to overwater. Planta says once every two weeks but it stays so moist. Now the top inch is dry but underneath isnât completely dry. Also, I was told itâs a zig zag plant. Is that right?

I need some help with this ivy plant. Here is how it looked about a month ago. And here it is now. I tried to use the diagnostic part of the app and it told me a water problem. So I was giving it more water and now it looks like itâs dead. Itâs dried out and Iâm afraid itâs done for đą. Did I kill this plant or is there a way I can save it? Thanks for any advice from a sad plant mama.
