I was at my grocery store plant department looking for a baby to bring home. When I went to pick one from the back of the row I lifted it up to my face to inspect it and what do you know. This little guy was staring back at me. (Had to evict him, so I could bring my plant home- he was safely sent off to live among the other plants) 😄
Transferred to soil I hope I did good it’s a chunky soil as well. 🪴🌱😅♥️
My holiday cactus, I think thanksgiving I'm not sure. Are so wide! They are throwing out new leaves and bloom all winter long they are just growing out wide, is this how they are meant to look? Should I be pruning them? It's hard to find spaces for them to fit with the rest of my plants due to their awkward shape.
Hi everyone! I could really use some help with my Alocasia Polly. 🥺 I repotted her two weeks ago, and since then she’s been declining. Leaves that were once firm are now drooping, even the larger ones, and some are turning yellow. I also moved her indoors due to the Florida heat. She’s now under a grow light with bright indirect light. I’m not sure if this is transplant shock, watering issues, lighting, or something with the roots. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice would mean a lot. Thank you! 💚

Had my 1st FLF 5 days ago and everybody said good luck keeping it alive and so I was scared and didn’t moved it from its place near the window a bit but my fear came true I guess bcoz today I found it shedding 2 of its leaves 😭😭 Please help me I don’t want it to die I really really like it Please help!!!!!
Dark bathroom plant recommendations? The bathroom does have a wi dow but we have a film on the window to keep the neighbors from getting a free view if you know what I mean….. Any recommendations for a low light plant that looks good as a hanging plant?

Every time I follow your instructions for certain succulents they end up dead. As long as I don’t water them as suggested by you they live. I am so disappointed

I’m so nerdy excited about this and I showed my friends and family and no one gives a poo 😂😂😂 There was a 10 pack of buckets and I can’t decide if I should research more types of soil, make my own custom soil mixes, or use the remaining ones for some of my various outdoor bird feeder foods. I do have one small bag of carnivorous soil mix, but it’s not enough to waste a whole bucket on.
HELP please :) Anyone having an issue with plants over scheduling fertilizing and watering? I’ve had to delay watering a few times because a particular pot wasn’t draining well - but it looks like planta doesn’t dynamically push back the fertilizing cycles to match. Since I use water fertilizer I’ve now got a water fertilizing phase and a water phase back to back. Does anyone know A fix for this? Shouldn’t liquid fertilizer just be spaced apart from watering - just replacing a watering cycle occasionally?
I bought a clipping of this plant maybe last month and today the woman decided to sell the plant that I got the clipping from so it was a full circle moment. Happy to have secured it.
Guys I am not one for promoting plant shops but I just bought hella plants of off Etsy, shop is called Sunshine Greens! Everything is on sale and they have some really cool stuff for a reasonable price. Will do a new plant Monday haul when everything comes in!
I’ve been neglecting my plants. I have been thinking out loud about my plants at work, considering making a moss pole for my unruly pothos, and my coworkers went ahead and bought me a set of premade moss poles for my birthday. Which is so darn thoughtful! But they are super long 😂 what do you guys think, trim back my pothos and hope it climbs?
