So, Iâve been into plants for awhile, and recently I was looking for a simple, fun, and cost effective way to poke drainage holes in plastic pots. Last night I had the idea for a handmade tool that fits the purpose, and luckily I was able to bring it to life because my dad is a blacksmith. Heres the prototype, all you do is heat up the pointy end and poke it in! Let me know any thoughts or questions, and if itâd be a worthwhile tool to sell!

What is at the top of your plant wishlist? Mine is forever changing. I've wanted an Alocasia Venom for a while. But then there's the Purple Longiloba. My recent obsession is the Variegated Orange Melano.

Iâm just over here, listening to sleep frequencies, feeding some of my little and learning thatâs itâs quite meditative to untangle my tears đȘŽ

Hi, my partner just bought me a cyclamen and I am having trouble finding information about how to care for it indoors? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Like when to repot (assuming to be done after blooming) I read something about a âcormâ in the roots and removing it đ€·đŒââïž and generally what to do so I can see it bloom again next year.
I am in southern Ontario Canada, if that helps.
TIA

Hello! I am kind of new to the plant world and I have slowly started obtaining more plants for my small room. I have had all of the plants for about half a year or longer now and out of my 11 plants originally 3 of them have already died (sadly). I am trying to learn more about how to take care of my plants due to mental health problems I think it will benefit me. If anyone has any recommendations of something I can do to help any of my plants or plant recommendations PLEASE let me know! I am open to a lot of criticism as if I am honest I have no idea what I am doing with plants....

Need plant recommendations!! I just bought this gorgeous pot and am not sure what to put in it. I want something that looks like hair/snakes, I love this one I found on pinterest but I don't think it will work for my space. I live in a pretty small & dark studio apartment, and the pot is so big it really only fits on this shelf, which is far from windows so I have grow lights on it. Does anyone have recommendations for plants that have a similar look that don't need bright light???

I'm soooo happy! I just potted one of my beautiful new Christmas presents Freya in her new home! And for a fairly new home gardener, I think she looks GORGEOUS! I used a mix of Miracle Grow, Bromeliad & a touch of perlite. What do y'all think? She's in my sunny kitchen nook, hanging with 2 girlfriends. đ„°â€ïžđȘ·

Hello, I need help with my Bamboo Sticks
I got these three bamboo sticks after a plant show but on my way home the stems broke off of all three of the sticks. I want to properly take care of them without hurting them further.
Any tips on what I should do next? I really want to take them out of the propagation cups.

Has anyone tried using tea (water the tea leaves have been steeped in), as fertilizer for indoor plants? If so, let me know! What kind of tea were you using and do you think it'd be suitable for most plants? Thanks:)

Hi! This kalanchoe has been split into three over time. I was wondering if it is a concern that some of the stems on the original are brown instead of green. Also, it has never flowered again after having flowers when I bought it many years ago. Any guidance is appreciated! Thank you.

First time owning a plant that needs humidity, is this distance from my plant okay? My house is open concept so Iâm trying to create some localized humidity for her :) additionally how long should I run the humidifier? This is a philodendron billietiae (water drops are from bringing her in from outside I just bought this today)
Weâve seen so much progress in my little Syngonium (Berry allusion)! The picture on the top is from May of this year, and the pictures on the bottom is what they currently look like!
Thank you to all the people who helped me revive my plant by commenting on my posts back then and giving me tips!
