Hello, I made the mistake of planting four o'clocks in an uncontrolled area of my yard. I've been fighting them every year since, trying to get rid of them. They are very aggressive. I pull the tiny seedlings as soon as they come up, never let them go to seed, and I've discovered they have a very large root system. How do I get rid of them? I'm thinking about slicing the largest roots in several places and coating each cut with Roundup. Has anyone tried that, or are there more effective ways to kill them? Thanks in advance!

Hey yall I just went to Lowe’s and got 7 new plants for less than $30. They were in the clearance and the man adjusted them ALL for me. YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! I will take a spread out pic later on. BTW…. Every last one has new leaves/bulbs coming up
I’m generally new to being a plant parent, since shortly before Mother’s Day this year. This means most of my plants are new, especially my bigger ones. I’ve noticed that almost every plant I have has been producing shorter stems/petioles/stalks/etc than what they’ve had pre grown when I bought them. My Thai constellation just finished putting out a new leaf that has about 7” less length of petiole, a deliciosa with a new leaf that’s about 4” less length of petiole. My new regal shield is still developing its leaf but based of how far the leaf has opened vs the length of its stem, it’s going to be sitting directly in front of and completely blocking the previous newest leaf. I’m sure this is all just due to having adequate lighting in my plant set up? Less reaching for the light? Also do monstera (and other aroids) leaves continue to grow after fully opening and hardening? If not then my Thai constellation is putting out a shorter and smaller leaf but with way more fenestrations.
Is it pretty
Hello Everyone, I’m trying my luck with EasyPlant. Has any one tried this company with the self watering pots? Thoughts? Concerns?
i've always been told pothos will only maintain one branch.. but here both stems have two growth points?? 😆 did i just win the plant genetics lottery or something?
A lot of new growth on our Alocasia.
It only looks like male flowers growing amongst my watermelon plants, will that change?
Hey! Only had this Ponytail Palm for 3 months and not repotted it yet- not sure how root bound they want to get before repotting. What do we think? Is it time now, or if not how much more root bound does it need to be? Also do you think this soil is good to keep (the one it came with) or should I switch to a succulent soil?
My heart fern isdying I’m a pro still don’t know why it is please help
It feels like this little guy has been struggling for forever and can’t seem to start growing again. Any tips?
Any tips on nursing this palm back to health? It’s been stagnant like this for about a month after I changed its pot and trimmed dead leaves.
Someone HELP! I found this on my office monstera. Little piles of brown stuff on the top and bottoms of some of the leaves. Wipes off easily. The internet says either rust fungus or thrips? I don’t see a single bug, so I’m leaning toward rust fungus. Any tips or advice appreciated!
WTF?!? These two critters popped up in my big corn plant suddenly in the last few days. This is an indoor plant but about once every 10 days I bring it outside to water it and let it drain for several hours.
Hello I recently got a ficus elastica cutting and put it in soil for propagation does anyone know of any ficus groups or have any experience, tips they would like to share it would be much appreciated
I’ve been growing this pink eureka lemon tree in a pot on my patio since early June and it appears to be mostly thriving (some flowers, perhaps now some very small baby lemons), except over the last month I’ve been dealing with fungus gnats. I’ve been treating the gnats with mozzie bits and rosemary/peppermint oil spray, but they keep coming back. Additionally I noticed some small mushrooms growing by the trunk this morning. Do I need to water less? Should I remove the mushrooms? Do I just continue as is and hope the gnats will eventually die off? Any tips appreciated!
My succulent is not doing so great! It has two leaves that are thin. Can anyone help me with my plant!!!
