My Calathea Orbifola has gotten yellow at the edges with spots in between. It was very close to a grow light and I decided to move it a little further away so it didnât get burnt. The plant came with the spot towards the tip of the leaf and that part has not changed. Grown in water which is switched once a month. Never used fertilizer. The plant is putting on a new leaf but it hasnât fully grown.
Any tips/help?

Hey! Iâm just wondering how people typically help with humidity for their plants? I live in Colorado so itâs very dry and humidity trays donât work very well because most of my plants are hanging. Iâd also prefer not to use a humidifier. Is misting ok? Iâve heard conflicting opinions about whether or not theyâll develop a fungus from it.

Iâm going to try growing herbs inside. I got some packs of seeds like Basil, Rosemary and Thyme, and a few others. Iâm having trouble finding a good soil to grow them in. Iâve been looking on Amazon and all the organic ones Iâve found people are saying in the reviews that the soil comes with fungus gnats or it starts molding. Does anyone know of any good ones for herbs?

Any recommendations or tips on starting a new garden? What I should start with or where to buy fruit trees from? Wal-Mart, Lowe's?

I am hoping someone could help me troubleshoot the issue.
I have been watering weekly. The plant is located close to a window, so should have sufficient light. The house stays between 68-72 degrees.
Getting a lot of brown leaves.
Thank you.

Is there any hope?

Hello! I am new to succulents and this is so exciting!! I an also new to Planta and hoping someone can help me!đ
Question- I carefully repotted my succulents today. I followed your instructions very carefully !
1. I used what you recommended- Bonsi Jack gritty mix. They will grow in that rocky stuff?
2. When should I water after the repot?
3. When should I fertilize? I never have. I got the succulents Miracle grow. Do I just mix that with the water? I havenât fertilized at all yet.
4. I am terrified of them going into repot shock! What should look out for and what do I do if they go into shock?
Thank you so much!!
