Please help!!!!!!!! Any advice on this plant? It’s in a part sun part shade, will it need a grow light?
I did it. I moved my coleus from a 6” to an 8” pot. This guy is getting massive.
Sunlight Sunday! Show us the plant catching the best Saturday light in your home today 💚
(I also asked about this in the philo grout, but I thought someone here might be able to help) I have some questions about my heart leaf philodendron brasil🪴💛 1) Is this a double leaf trying to unfurl at the top? If so, yay! But should I help it? 2) I’m pretty sure that lower brown stem (vine?) is dead :( It looks like it has new growth at the end, so could I cut it past the brown section and put in water, or is it a lost cause already?
I have had this little fairy garden step forever and thought I would try to set something up, but could use some opinions! The little haworthia will get planted in the little wells. Since tradescanthia like to vine and crawl, thought they could make a nice base. Steps should lead to......? What else to make it cute? Thanks!
I guess those repotting reminders are there for a reason!
Hey y’all! Do you think I need a grow light for my new satin pothos? These pictures were taken when the room gets the most light during the day. I just don’t know if it’ll get enough/the best amount of light as it is.
hello planta community! it’s been a while. i was hoping i could find out what’s going on with my peppermint smoothie hibiscus i purchased on my birthday last month. i believe i have overwatered it but i’m not entirely sure. it was inside but it started to become warmer in my zone so i thought it was safe to put outside. we went through a cold spell so i brought back inside but it had already started to yellow in some leaves and become a bit crunchy. i checked the soil and it was still moist so that’s why i believe it was overwatered. but any help would be appreciated. tyia!
Can anyone please help me identify this?
I have this beautiful white princess philodendron that i bought 2-3 weeks ago. He is happy and i haven’t repotted him yet since he seems happy but look at these tiny leaves at the stem!!! When should i repot this plant and when i do, should i leave these babies with him or propagate it? If propagate it to make another, how would you go about?
what kind of pothos did i buy…? :p
Happy Saturday! What plant tasks are you tackling today? Repotting, pruning, shopping!?
I mix my plant soil with regular potting soil and perlite but i noticed the top of the soil gets very ugly fast with the perlite. Dry and just looks unhealthy lol. Should i start to just bottom water my plants going forward to avoid this or is it normal? Its almost like when i plant them there isnt too much perlite on the top soil but when time goes on its like all the perlite goes to the top haha
I got this beautiful “white philodendron princess” but looks like he is going to grow a little pink if i can get it to. Anyways, i bought it when it had a leaf that was trimmed at the end and now it is turning yellow from it but not sure what to do to help it. Should i trim the leaf right off? Otherwise looks healthy and happy! I also read up that if they get alot of light then it helps produce more white and pink leaves, is this true? I use grow lights, should i keep it right under one & what setting for colors should i have it on to help grow these beautiful white and pink leaves? Natural/yellow light, red/natural light, or white?
I need help with this rubber plant. I got him about 2 months ago. He was doing great but now hes limp and one leaf is turning orange/red/yellow. I just watered him because his soil was dry but hes been like this for about 2 weeks and i have no idea how to help him! (He has a grow light on everyday but i took the picture once the time was up so this is why its shady in the picture lol)
I have this pilea that has grown leggy and over the side of its pot. Is there a way to replant the entire plant by cutting at the top of the stem, or would I have to do little clusters separately?
Anyone want to guess what plant this is 😩😂. I left this mason abandon cause it eventually had spider mites and dead with cold (or so I think this one is the one im thinking ) im not sure 🤔 thought it be a fun game since seen something growing I will say though she is moving fast (I’ll be sure to come back and post what she is )
I drilled a hole in the bottom of this ceramic pot but I’m scared I made it too big. Because I just have the little gravel rocks in this I’m nervous it won’t retain any water. Any tips?
This little girl is stressing me out, she was dying a few weeks ago and now she’s back to normal, any and all tips would be appreciated so I can make sure she stays happy
