My spider plant is looking super sad. Any suggestions? I’m not sure what’s wrong and I’m not sure if it’s salvageable but I’d like to try. I’ve allowed it time to dry out mostly between waterings and it gets sunlight without being too close to the window. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated!!

My friend gifted me this plant and I’m flummoxed. Snake plant, dracena, bromeliad? I keep getting different answers.

So I just ordered a variety of flower seeds and was wondering if anyone could inform me on how to correctly germinate seeds , and key tips. Are heating mats necessary? Should I directly place seed in the same size depth of the seed itself and water it occasionally, or is there any other method of growing. I’ve seem to failed a peat moss pallet. Sowed seeds in a self watering container I bought from Lowe’s for under 14 dollars , didn’t seem to get any growth . Let it sit for 2 months . And nothing

A friend propagated one of her plants and gave me a section. I planted it and, this inch plant has grown over a foot since. No new shoots have sprouted though? Should I propagate again? And what is the best course of action to do so? I have never had one of these kinds of plants before and I am not sure what to do?

Should I add another light to each rack? Can’t tell if the plants need more light or not. They’re doing great!…but wondering if I can get better growth.

I was taking a break from creating adult coloring books (yes, I’m an author in my retired life)… and I was staring into space and I noticed that my snake plant was flowering! It even has some cute water droplets coming out. I looked it up and I’m so confused… Snake plants prefer to be a bit root bound and can bloom from either mild/continuous stress or when in ideal growing conditions. So this is either perfect, or it’s stressed. Ummmmm????? I have so many questions.

Hello everyone. I took a trip back home for Christmas and left my plants for like 3 weeks and was hoping for the best (I know, don’t judge me). This is my peace lily, it looks the worst. I don’t know if it’s dead or not. I’m thinking I could resume watering, prune the dead leaves and see if it’ll sprout again? Or am I delusional? Please help!

Good morning plant parents. It has been a dream come true by investing in plant caddies to temporarily group my Majesty Girls (majesty palm plants) and Voluptuous Ladies (Chinese Evergreens or aglaonema lumina) in front of the living room sliding glass door for light exposure rather than running grow Lights for plants in separate rooms. But what really makes the difference is the humidifiers at 60% throughout my apartment because the air can get really dry with running the heater during the winter months to keep the temperature at 70F.

I got this plant a couple weeks ago, and i thought it was a philodendron. Today, I got a couple new pothos and i noticed that one of them looked almost exactly like the philodendron i got, but bigger?

I have a fiddle leaf fig in my sunroom. It’s cold here in atlanta and I’ve been bringing him in every night but during the day I leave a space heater on in the sunroom (I don’t want to lv it in at night) . I’ve heard they don’t like to be moved around much. Should I continue to bring him in or cover him w a sheet?

recommendations on plants that can withstand colder temps overnight?? We’re about to move, and my fiance wants a plant in the room but we like to sleep in the cold. Does anyone have plants in their room with an air conditioner, keep a window cracked, or keep the room around 60° ?? I use to have my plants in the room when it was cold and they seemed fine, but once I put them in a warmer spot they flourished. I don’t wanna stunt their growth, freeze my plants or send them into shock… I’m already worried about moving with them in the winter.. I’d appreciate other plant parents’ opinions !! Please be nice lol
