A coworker is giving away some plants, any idea what this could be?
Could someone tell me the exact name of this? I’m having a hard time identifying it. Thanks! 🫶🏻
Old man cactuses. I was watering these two cactuses that I got from Walmart. I thought there was webbing on the bottom of them. So I went to go pool and noticed that it was roots. As of right now I don’t have any gloves to be able to move these into a different pot. Does anyone have any good glove recommendations?. And what size pot should I move these to? (the second picture of roots. Is the cactus with less hair)
RIP to one of my fav pots. slid off the back of the toilet😪 - luckily saved the pothos inside
Which do you prefer to use: ~ scientific names or ~ common names 🌱🌵🌿☀️
Just got this cutting from a local plant store, does anyone know what it is? Trying to identify it but the app can't.
Just got a really small peace lily domino delivered, its super tiny and the roots are about 1/2 inches long, it had a little bit of rot, but I switched too soil that is dry, how long should i wait before watering ?
Hey i love this donkeytail, but is there any way to make it bushier w/out just propagating? I thought breaking off a tip, but would it just split growth off at the very end?
My snake plant is falling over. How can I fix this?
New leaf!!!!
Question: I just recently moved my quilted alocasia and my silver dragon into fluval stratum. Both of them were showing signs of root rot. That’s why I made the transition. My questions are, how often should I add water? How often should I change it out for fresh stratum?
just out of curiosity does anyone know what these are? i thought it had flowers for a sec when i saw it from afar🤣
I bought my first plant recently however it hasn’t been looking great. I’ve had it for a bit over a week and it’s loosing its shape and seems one of the leaves has dried up. Its a parlour palm and i have been watering it every 1-2 days and tried to keep it out of direct sunlight, i’ve also tried used a little bit of plant feed. Does anybody know what i’m doing wrong?
What is the best way to clean plants?
Had to share the newest repot…we will see how well the String of Raindrops does🤍
Oh you guys I’ve had this plant for 25 years and I’ve notice that the one limb is dying. I believe this branch on it is hollowing out. I’ve grown another one from this plant I will try again and see if I’m successful. The third pic is the clone from the first mother plant.
Got a little heart shaped fern this weekend in this cute little pink planter just in time for Valentine’s Day! 💖💘 I was almost scared away by it being marked “hard” but the heart leaves were too cute to pass up haha wish me luck!!
!!!!!!I need answers!!!!!! I repotted almost all but 2 of my plants and this philodendron was one that was repotted… same chunky soil as the rest of my Plants (foxfarm- the ocean one with perlite & added Orchid bark and slow Release grow fertilizer pellets)… Is this plant just in shock? because i have 2 other that are doing the same And the rest are absolutely fine… even my alocasia milo(?) That i redid is Still fine! I bottom watered them to prevent Fugues gnats (Main reason i Had to repot! worse i have EVER had) should i have Top watered them? I always have fully watered when repotted but Bottom watered this time for The sake on gnats Coming back! ;(
Hello! Any thoughts on warm mist vs cool most humidifiers for inside IKEA cabinets that will house mostly tropical plants (monstera Thai, philodendrons, alocasias)? I didn’t even know they made cool mist humidifiers until recently!
