Hi everyone! I am very new to plants and i managed to practically kill this christmas cactus. I water it about once a week and ive only seen it flower once or twice in the year ive had it. What am i doing wrong to it?

Idk why this thing always says the water is low but its at full capacity. Anyway heres the start of the seeds. Sunflowers were ready to pop out after just a few days. Cant wait to put them in the ground :)

I bought these two pothos that were on sale and needed saving from Walmart. I did not anticipate the amount of crane flies and gnats that would come with them. I had them quarantining in the bathroom (in a studio apartment) but damn bugs would not leave after several treatments of neem oil and hydrogen peroxide so I had to save what I could and toss the rest :( to new beginnings!

My Prayer Plant is a beaut! I just wonder if they climb like other house plants or if I just need to trim it? Any advice on if I could Velcro her to a climbing post or just trim the ends???

I took a visit to the 'Newark garden show' at the weekend and came back with these two in the photo (and lots of other plants just accidentally jumped into my new purple garden trolley which also magically became part of my life) .... I now realise I'm in my gardening era 🤣🌺 I turned 36 last week and it's just happened ✨ 🪄 🎩....... Did this happen to anyone else? Did it happen over night? One minute your dancing in a nightclub to then BOOM the excitement of dancing to the tunes in gardens centres and early nights thinking about feeding your plants...

I wanna see things you've made INTO planters! Here's a mug I drilled a drainage hole into a while ago to start it off. And just for fun, a handmade ceramic bowl as a saucer for another to snazz up its plain black pot Always on the lookout for cool containers at the thrift, and for ideas from cool plant people. Now especially since it's repotting szn!! 🤪

Moody Monday! What’s the hardest part of plant care?! Pests, watering, lighting, repotting?

Hello! I just got a dwarf umbrella plant yesterday and noticed that it has a few brown spots and I’m not sure if I should just leave them or trim off those leaves. Any advice would be really appreciated - I definitely have a habit of killing new plants!

I found this little plant in my yard growing as a weed. I thought it looked cool so I took it inside and planted it up. I was trying to add it to planta but I can’t find what type of plant it is. After 20 mins of f searching I went back outside to try and find any bigger plants around it that resembled it but I couldn’t. If anyone can identify it that would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

This plant dropped a TON of leaves in the past couple of months. I repotted today but should I cut it back further? Like all the way???? It’s just so sparse lol

Hey, so my prayer plant was thriving about a week ago. There’s 3 brand new leaves that look normal. However, there’s some weird discoloration on some older ones? I think it may be the light. I moved it back to my window, from a grow light, that gets indirect light and that’s when it went from one leaf at a time to 3. It only gets direct like from like sunrise to about 7:30 am then gets bright indirect. I follow the app for watering and fertilizing. I’m just wondering if anyone knows what’s goin on with the leaves. These are the only two it’s happening on.

I bought a peperomia caperata” schumi red?”. It was nice and compact (dome shaped). Ive had it a month and is growing leggy. I have it near a growlight, ( short days in northern canada). Also what soil ingredients should i be using? Please help!
