I got this pothos at a plant swap. It was about 5 feet longer and several people wanted cutting but no one wanted the plant cause it didn't have many leaves at the top. So I took the plant. I took a cutting as well and wrapped the stem around the inside of the pot and I'm hoping it will root and start new leaves. I also have tried Keiki cloning paste on the rest of the plant but nothing so far. I want to take the cutting and add it back into the pot. What is your thought about doing this? I think it has good roots but no secondary ones. Should I wait or go ahead and plant it back with its mama. Thanks for your help.

Question! Do yall keep your plants in nursery pots or do you plant them directly into your ceramic pots? Iâve been planting them directly into my pots for years but am wondering if I should invest in some clear plastic nursery pots.
Hi! Looking for advice for my friend Winston here! He hasnât been doing well for a while and the edges of the leaves are singed.
I got this plant around the middle of March, she was doing good for a while and recently started dying. I moved her to a more lit area and was careful about watering but there's been no improvement. I've also taken off the dead leaves but so far nothingâs helped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Can someone tell me what Iâm doing wrong with my ZZ plant? It was thriving when I got it, in the same soil and pot itâs in now. I kept it under a grow light, but the leaves started turning yellow, so I moved it to a shadier spot since they like low light in the wild. I let the soil dry out, only watered it once, and havenât used any fertilizer. Iâve just been leaving it alone, but the leaves and stems are drooping and itâs still not doing well. The pot has no drainage and the soil holds water for a while, but Iâve been careful not to overwater to avoid root rot.
Anyone know why this little guy is growing some roots way up high as well as a new shoot (growing up the side of the glass)? In a terrarium, which it seems to like a lot, but I was just curious why itâs started to grow like this.
Thanks to all the help I have received on here, my polka dot begonia propagation was able to be potted and is ready for my mom this Motherâs Day weekend!
I got this plant as a cutting. It had a split leaf on it but that part died while it was trying to grow roots in water. I'm trying to figure out what it is. I believe it's a type of monstera but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
It took me a while to find a clear pot to plant this little baby. But she looks good and has done well with the change from water to soil. And she even has a new leaf coming out. So excited to watch her grow.
too hot inside, too wild outside: what should i do with my plants while i travel? đ„ hey plant people! đ± i live in nyc and will be traveling for about 3 weeks this summer. iâm trying to figure out the best way to keep my plants alive while iâm gone. i have around 15 plants, some big and some small ones. i have an outdoor patio and was thinking of leaving them outside so they get fresh air instead of being stuck in my hot, closed-up apartment, but iâm worried about the unpredictable summer weatherânyc can get really hot and also have sudden heavy rains and windy days. would building something like a diy awning or cover be enough to protect them? or would it be better to leave them inside and ask a neighbor to stop by once a week to water them? (though iâm not sure how well they'll do in the heat without good airflow) would love to hear how others have handled thisâany tips or advice would be super appreciated! thanks! đđ
My plant is curling up and looks kinda sad? Iâm not too sure what do I do
iâve sprayed with neem oil, put sticky traps in, but the gnats seem to not care. any tips or tricks? itâs driving me insane đ
Zone 7a peeps - what are your go to outdoor plants? I am in zone 6b and just bought a home a few hours south. Im hoping an ever so slight change in climate might open up a couple opportunities. Maybe for gardenia? What other ideas do you have!?
Has anyone in North Carolina had any success with planting Lantana outside?
Advice welcome!! I found scale on my monstera on Sunday this week : just a couple adults, no babies! Iâm so paranoid, I picked them all off and used insecticidal soap top to bottom. Iâm thinking of also repotting with fresh soil just to be extra safe - is that necessary or am I going into panic mode too soon? I just love this plant and donât want her to die đ
